"That was awesome!" Riley Exclaimed while walking into the apartment door coming back from her and Maya's first mission.
"No Riley, that was exhausting not awesome, exhausting." Maya replied.
"Oh come on guys me, Skylar, and Oliver have been on plenty of missions, Most of them without our powers, for like 4 years. How are you tired?" Kaz said while walking over to the couch and plopping down.
Truth be told they were all tired. Maya plopped down next to Kaz leaning on his shoulder. He then put his arm around her. Everyone else sat down too. Everyone was too tired that no one wanted to talk. But Bree got curious.
"So....Kaz when were you going to tell us hmm?" Bree questioned as she pulled herself out of the couch a bit so she was sitting straight.
"Tell you what?" Kaz asked with the most confused look. God hes oblivious.
"About you and Blondie there" She chuckled.
It completely slipped their minds. They had forgotten that they never told the team that they had a thing going on. Better opportunity than ever, right?
"Oh yeah, right." Kaz said while standing up.
"Everyone, Maya is my uh...?" He started but stopped when he realized he didnt know what to call Maya.
Maya laughed lightly. "Girlfriend?"
He nodded. "Yeah that." He let out a nervous chuckle and sat back down next to Maya.
Everyone congratulated Kaz and Maya for their new relationship. After a while they all started talking about life and what their dreams are, cheesy stuff.
"Hey guys, why don't we go out for fro-yo, I heard there's a new place a few blocks from here that sells it." Riley said looking at everyone.
"That sounds good." Skylar said.
"Sure." Bree agreed.
"Yeah, let me grab my phone real quick." Oliver said while running up the stairs.
Once Oliver came back down stairs everyone stood up, put their coats on, and walked out the door.
It took them about 5 minutes to get to the shop. They ordered their Fro-yo and sat down at the outside table outside.
"Hey um, Riley?" Bree questioned from the other side of the table, where she sat next to chase.
"Yeah?" Riley replied.
"If you, Kaz, Oliver, and Skylar can fly, and Maya has teleportation, I have super-speed, and Chase has a subway card, why did we walk?"
"Oh, I dunno.....The exercise?"
"We fight bad guys almost everyday, kicking but, and training I think we've had enough exercise." Bree said while chuckling.
They were all having such a good time, laughing, eating fro-yo, and having fun. until their fun got ruined with a big explosion. Coming out of the explosion they saw a very familiar face, and heard a very familiar voice say...
"Miss me?"
