Chapter 6

Lisa's POV
We were still sitting by the fire, and I still had Andrew sweatshirt on, and I was actually quite cozy, Andrew was off with the guys, and then Kara came and sit next to me
"Are you sure you don't like him?" She said and I just laughed
"I'm sure" I said and she just rolled her eyes
"Where do you guys go?" She asked
"Just for a walk, that's all" I said smiling and I just looked at her
"So you want me to date him?" I asked curiously and she gave me a look
"Lisa, you've both been hurt before, like a guy hurt you, and a girl hurt him, and I feel like you guys will be good for each other that's all, you both deserve someone good" she said I smiled and nodded
"Thanks Kara, but things will happen in a way it meant to you know?" I said and she nodded
"Yeah you're right" she said and I smiled
"But he is really sweet though" I admitted
"Girl go for it!" She said and I shook my head
"I'm just now getting to know him! It's too soon to even think like that" I said and she gave me a look
and then Andrew came up
"Hey Lisa, you ready to go" He asked and I nodded and looked at Kara
"Bye" I said giving Kara a hug and she hugged me back and whispered in my ear
"Remember, go for it" she said and I just smiled and she gave Andrew a hug and then we left, the car ride was silent until Andrew spoked up
"So thank you for coming with me"
He said and I looked at him and smiled
"Thank you for inviting me, I had a good time" I said smiling and he goes
"You know, you seem like such a amazing person" he said and I looked out the window
"Not really" I said taking a deep breath and then he put his hand on my leg
"Now like I said you're more then what you give yourself credit for" he said and I just look at him
"What makes you so sure" I said and he smiled as he parked in my driveway but we stayed there, and he looks at me
"For one, look at you, you're adorable, you're nice, funny" he said and I cut him off
"Easy for you to say" I said and he took a breath and spoke up
"What do you mean?" He asked
"I'm not the person you think I am Andrew, I'm a very deep person and complicated" I said and he cut me
"Lisa, it sucks that you don't know your worth, let me guess, you've been hurt before?" He asked and I looked at him
"Yeah how do you know?" I said and he shrug his shoulders
"Usually when someone gets hurts emotionally they think like that" he said and I looked at him
"Have you been hurt before?" I asked and he nodded
"Unfortunately, there was this girl, I really fell for her, and we went on dates and everything and just randomly stopped talking to me and ended up dating this other guy, and I always wonder what was wrong with me you know? What was it about the other guy that was better then me" he said and I looked at him
"From a girl perspective, we do usually go for the jerks, I don't know why we do, but that girl definitely is missing out though, you're such a sweet guy" I said and he smiled
"Thanks Lisa" he said and I smiled and he spoked up
"How did you get hurt?" He asked and I took a breath
"It was long distance first off, but he kept asking me to come see him, even though I did so much for him, and he didn't even care" I said and thinking of it almost put me to tears and I kept taking deep breaths and one tear fell down my cheek and he wiped it
"That guy is obviously an idiot who doesn't deserve you, you're great" he said and I smiled
"Thanks, seriously" I said and he smiled
"Hey you're helping me too" he smiled and after our heart to heart we got out of the car and walked to my door and I turned around to him
"Well I had fun tonight" I said and he smiled
"Good!" He said smiling and then spoked up
"Uh listen, me, Trent, Kara and some other people are planning on going to the haunted house and stuff next weekend, would you like to come?" I asked and I smiled
"Uh a haunted house? I don't know" I said and he laughed
"Oh come on, please come, it will be fun" he said and I smiled
"Fine, I'll go" I said as I gave in and he smiled
"Great! Well I better get going, you have a good night" he said as he gave me a hug
"Goodnight" I said as I hugged him back and pulled away and walked in
inside
That guy...is definitely different
