Chapter 19

Lisa's POV
It was three o clock in the morning, and I have been texting Andrew nonstop

L: Hey did you get home okay?
L: babe...did you?
L: Andrew....please answer me

I just been sitting there staring at my phone I couldn't sleep, but I'm trying to convince myself he's okay, he's probably been asleep, I kept taking deep breaths as I was watching tv, and I got up, and went to the kitchen to get some water, and I heard my phone ring...I ran over to it hoping it was Andrew but I seen it was a random number so I took a deep breath and answered it

"Hello" I said and then someone spiked up
"Hey, is this Lisa?" I heard a female voice
"This is her" I said and they took a deep breath
"Hey this is Tonya, Andrew's mom" she said in between breaths
"Oh hey" I said knowing this isn't good news with her calling me this late
"Sorry, I would've called you from my cell phone, but it's dead" she said and I took a breath
"Is everything okay?" I asked
"Lisa this isn't easy to say" she said and she spoked up
"Andrew...he was in a car accident" she said and I felt tears build up in eyes
"Is he okay?" I asked and she sighed
"He broke his leg, and is pretty banged up, he's in emergency surgery right now" she said and my hand covered my mouth and the tears just fell
"Honey, I know it's late, but you're more then welcome to come to the hospital, if you want to wait til the morning that's okay" and I spoked up
"I will be there in about 10 minutes" I said as I put on his sweatshirt and some leggings and walked out the door and drove to the hospital and once I got there I ran in and saw Andrew's family and his sister Nikki walked up to me
"Lisa" she said as she gave me a hug and I pulled away
"Any news?" I asked and she shooked her head
"Nothing" she said and walked away and I just sighed and his mom walked to me and she hugged me
"This my fault" I said and she gave me a look
"Why would you think this is your fault?" She asked
"He left from my house, I told him that the roads were bad and I tried getting him to stay over and he refused" and she cut me off
"Honey, Andrew is stubborn, of course he's gonna refuse, don't think this is your fault alright?" She said and I nodded and started talking
"Any news on what exactly happened?" I asked and she sighed
"He got hit by a drunk driver who lost control of their car" she said and I closed my eyes to hold back the tears and she put her hand on my shoulder
"Remember what I said, he's stubborn, and he will get through this" she said and she looks at the seats and then at me
"Come on let's sit down" she said as we walked over and I sit down next to Nikki and I lean my head back and Nikki puts her hand on my shoulder
"He loves you, you know" and I looked at her
"Has he ever told you" she asked and i shooked my head
"No he didn't actually, but I actually just knew" I admitted and she spoked up
"Well I haven't seen him happier since he got with you" she said and spoked up
"And the fact you're here at almost 4 in the morning, I take it that you love him too" she said and I nodded
"I do" I said and she smiled and she just looked at me and patted my leg
"He will be okay, I know my brother, he never went down without fight" she said and I smiled
"How are you guys being so positive about this" I asked
"Well there's no point of being negative about it" she said and I nodded agreeing with what she's saying and then laid my head back, I can't help about think about Andrew, is this my fault? I should've made him stay, or else he wouldn't be in this mess, And the next thing I know, I was asleep
