Dez's P.O.V

-Persuading Ally to stay-

I anxiously knocked on the door 3 times.

I hoped Trish would answer. I had to resolve our differences.

...

I knocked again.

Suddenly, the door flew open.

Ally: WHAT! *screams* Oh...hey Dez.

I looked Ally up and down. She looked a real mess. Mascara stains down her cheeks and her hair a mess. She scratched her hair.

Dez: Ally? What's..what's wrong?

Ally: Uh..now isn't the time Dez!

She went to shut the door but I put my foot in between.

Dez: Hey Ally! Don't. Don't shut me out?

Ally: I..I have too.

Dez: Why do you? What's wrong?

Tears trickled down her cheeks.

Ally: C-C'mon in...

She re-opened the door and I walked in. I noticed that the house was a mess too. I faced her anxiously when she shut the door again.

Dez: What happened here? Someone throw a bomb?

Ally: I guess..I guess you could say a bombshell. *teary*

BAM. The light switch flicked on in my head. Mack. She knew about Austin's girlfriend.

Dez: Awe man..Ally, I'm so sorry!

Ally: It's just...how could he lie to me like that Dez?

She burst into tears. I ran up to her and hugged her. It felt sort of good. But that was off the point.

We went and sat on the couch.

She rubbed her eyes as she let go and finished crying.

Dez: How..how did you find out?

Ally: I-i-i..

Dez: Shh.. Take your time..

She took a deep breath.

Ally: I... I saw her...at the airport...god! She's so damn sweet! Why her! *puts head in hands*

Dez: *rubs her shoulder* Shh..I know Ally..It's horrible what Austin's done, but you can overcome this, you're so much stronger!

She looked me in the eyes.

Ally: You really think so?

Dez: I know so. *slightly smiles*

Ally: *gulps* Well I don't...

She glanced over to the hallway. I looked to see there was a packed bag.

I faced her again.

Dez: Wait, you're leaving?!

Ally: *looks at him*

Dez: Awh come on Ally! No! You can't leave!

Ally: Why not?

Dez: Because you've only just got here! And we need you! I need you!

Ally: *eyes him suspiciously* Really?

Dez: Really. Believe it or not Ally, I have actually missed you.

Her face lit up a little. But then, she frowned.

Dez: What?

Ally: Well..*sighs* I can't stay here. And I can't see Trish or Austin.

Dez: I understand...

I sighed again and gulped.

Dez: Do you want to stay with me?

Ally: What? Really?

Dez: Yeah, I mean, since Didi left for college, I guess you could stay in there.

Ally: Really? Thanks Dez!

She leaned in and hugged me tightly. I hugged back.

I strangely felt butterflies.

Was this normal? I was just her friend?

Ugh. No.

I let go and smiled.

Dez: What are you waiting for? We can take your stuff now if you like.

Ally: Thankyou. *a little teary but smiles*

She stood up and picked her bags up.

I felt like a good samaritan or maybe even a hero.

Austin would hate me for this.

But to be honest, he deserves everything he gets.
