A half an hour later, at 8:00pm, Myles and Charlie had finished getting ready. Charlie had on a pair of khakis with a white oversized sweater and white converse. Myles wore a black and white loose plaid shirt with blue skinny jeans.
The two boys were still trying to run it through their heads why they decided to go to this club.
A few quiet moments later, Hunter opened the door wearing black skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt and a leather jacket over it. He flipped the sides of his jacket back, and sighed happily. "Well you dinks, are you ready?"
Charlie raised an eyebrow at Hunters choice of name, but refused to say anything about it. Myles just rolled his eyes and laughed half-heartily.
"Yeah." He replied simply and stood up, flattening his shirt out.
The boys made their way out the door and towards the atrium, where the entrance way was.
As they reached the door, a body swiftly moved in front of it causing the boys to step back, startled.
They looked up, and noticed it was the annoying boy from Charlie's science class. His name was Bradley. He had short, spiky blonde hair, square rimmed glasses, a buttoned up dress shirt, a bowtie and black dress pants. He'd always be dressing up, doesn't matter what day, or what he's doing.
He was 15 years old, and was quite ambitious to find out what these three boys were up to all the time. You could say he was rather annoying.
Ever since him and Charlie shared the same science class, Bradley had always been attached to Charlie. He'd follow him around, ask him to hang out, try to get to know him, try to be his partner in every project/lesson. He then found out about Charlie's friends, so he tried to become their friend too. So far, it hasn't worked out very well.
Charlie groaned and looked away, trying to avoid eye contact with Bradley.
"Move, shorty." Hunter sighed, trying to push past the younger boy. Bradley made no movement.
"What are you three up to?" Bradley smiled, adjusting his glasses.
"We're just going out." Myles stated obviously. "Well, trying to." He tried making it clear to the boy that he was in the way.
"Ooh. A party?" Bradley guessed, looking at their outfits.
"Sure, you can call it that." Hunter replied.
"Can I come?" Bradley asked, biting his lip nervously. He had never been to any type of party besides the usual birthday parties.
"No. It's not a party for someone like you." Hunter crossed his arms, becoming irritated.
"What do you mean 'someone like me'?" Bradley frowned, his eyes flashed a look of hurt.
"You're uh. Too young." Hunter said, then mentally slapped himself considering the fact that Charlie was the same age as him.
"But-"
"But nothing." Hunter said and lifted the younger boy up, and moved him away from the door.
Bradley looked over at Charlie, and Charlie kept his eyes in another direction, trying to avoid conversation with him.
"Charlie? Can I come? Please?" Bradley whispered.
Charlie felt guilt in his stomach. He didn't like saying no to people. He hated letting people down. That's why he didn't want Bradley talking to him because he knew that the boy was going to guilt him into something.
"I uh.." Charlie started stammering. "There's uh.." He scratched the back of his head, looking at the other two boys for a sign of what to say. He watched as the older boys wildly shook their heads. Charlie straightened up, looking confident. "No. You can't. Maybe next time."
Bradley's face fell, as he sighed. "Okay." He said sadly. He looked down at his shoes, "It's alright. It's just. I've never been to a party befor-"
"You can come." Charlie said quickly, cutting Bradley off. Charlie hated how easily he could cave in. He gave an apologetic smile to his friends. "It couldn't hurt."
Hunter bent down, getting to Charlie's height. "He would have to get a fake ID though."
Charlie looked over at Hunter, "you can get him one, can't you? Didn't you make our ID's?" He tried keeping his voice low, so that Bradley couldn't hear. But being the nosey boy that Bradley is, he tried picking up what the two were saying.
"IDs?" Bradley asked, looking confused. Hunter stood up to his full height, "oh..yeah.."
"Why do we need IDs? What kind of party is it?" Bradley questioned.
Hunter looked around, making sure no one else was in sight. Myles stepped over, trying to join the conversation.
"You can't tell anyone, okay?" Hunter whispered, looking straight at Bradley. Bradley nodded, beginning to feel frightened.
"We're going to the club that's on the other side of town." Hunter paused, studying the young boys face. Bradley only nodded, getting caught off guard. Myles and Charlie stood there, silent. They closely looked between Hunter and Bradley's faces.
"In order to get in, we need fake ID's. Now I know you're a goody two shoes who would never break the law, so I guess you're not interested anymore." Hunter shrugged, not really caring. He went to the door and opened it, about to leave.
"I'll come! I will! I turned a new leaf now. I'm Badass Bradley!" He exclaimed, leaving the boys to stop in their tracks. Hunter switched looks between Myles and Charlie and exhaled. He turned around, and let go of the door as it shut.
"Okay. Lets head up to the photography room then."
