Mates. I used to love the idea of mates you know that one person who was supposed to love you no matter what. They also say alpha's or alpha's children are the best to be mates with because they are very possessive and you are the only one who can control them. They are all wrong whoever they are because my mate is a huge jerk who thinks I'm ugly and fat and the worst thing on this planet and he also happens to be the alpha's son. Derek Dime the most handsome man in the pack that every girl dreamed of being mates with and I'm of course the lucky one. Note the sarcasm.
So here I am in my room crying my eyes out into my pillow while my dad mutters threats under his breath and my sister and mom are making me a special dinner. My two brothers are Derek's best friends and they already told me they would speak to him. My dad being the beta will have a talk with Alpha Simon Derek's father.
"Cece don't cry it's okay he didn't even reject you remember he never said the words." my dad says.
"Yes he did he said the words after I came home dad the connection is gone and there is nothing you can do the only one who can bring the connection back is Derek and I doubt he's going to do that!" I said standing up. Cecelia Jennings got rejected. Me Cecelia Jennings got rejected. Most guys at school have crushes on me, my sister Elizabeth, Derek's sister Kimberly, and my best friend Bethany who is the third in commands daughter. I always turned the guys down so I could save myself for my mate but that was a waste cause my mate hates me and rejected me for this girl named Abigail who is my worst enemy.
"DINNER!" my mom shouts. My dad kisses my forehead and we walk down. There is two tacos with extra tomatoes, one BLT sandwich with extra bacon and instead of lettuce there is cucumbers, there is watermelon on the side of my plate and my favorite drink in the whole entire world is in my cup. Strawberry soda. They barely ever have it at the store and my parents only buy it for special occasions or for a tragedy. This is what I would usually have on my birthday but today far worse than than my birthday.
After we eat I go straight to my bathroom and take a shower. When I get out I almost trip over the duffel bag I bought when I was ten when I decided I would move out to be with my mate when I found him. I open it and see some of my best outfits and other things I need. I open up a side pocket and it has my iphone and my ipod. I open up the other side pocket and see my laptop in there. Maybe I should still leave I doubt anyone would care. As I walk down the hallway with my duffel bag making sure I don't wake my sleeping family I leave the note I wrote and leave.

I wake up the next morning and walk out to the kitchen. Derek is going to pay. No one hurts any of my baby girls or my sons. I cross over to the counter and see a note. I pick it up and read it.
Dear family,
As you all know I decided that when I found my mate I would move in with him, well now I've decided that since my mate hates me and I can't move in with him I will run away and turn rouge it's the only thing I could think about doing. I love you and do not come searching for me because I am safe just remember that I love you and will keep in contact with you but I changed my phone number so you can't use it to call me and do not even try because it will just be a waste of time. Lizzy look under my bed, mom look in my closet, Jason look in my shower, Justin look on top of my bureau, and most importantly dad look behind my mirror. This search will keep you busy and the items each of you find will help you remember me.

I called everyone from the pack outside my house and everyone just looked annoyed while everyone in my family looked concerned.
"Yesterday my daughter found her mate in this pack but he decided it would be fun to reject her but as a result of his stupidity my daughter is now rouge in who knows where. She does not want us to find her so we will not try to find her but just so you know I hope your happy Derek because if she gets killed it's all on you oh and Abigail along with him. That is all and thank you for letting me speak alpha." I said bowing my head at him. He nodded at me and everyone left except Derek who just sat there stunned.
"She really left?" he asked.
"Yeah honey isn't it great, now we can be together without your mate trying to break us apart!" Abigail said standing up. I walked up to her and banged her head against the wall three times with all my energy which was more than enough to knock her out. I left her crumpled on the floor and went for my run.
"Dad I love you and I don't want to leave but I feel like I have to." I heard someone say behind me. "Cece," I said turning around and hugging her. She hugged me back but then turned and shifted into her pure white wolf and walked over the boundary. With one last glance she was gone just hopefully not forever.
