The Return of Her

Who am I?... Who are you?

'Where am I?... I can't remember anything... except the name, Roxanne...'

She sat in a ball. All around her was darkness...

'Is this what I was created to be?... a void of nothingness?... I-It's scary! I want out!'

Roxanne tried to scream but her sorrows were swallowed by the emptiness. She realized it was hopeless... and closed her eyes. She slept there for what seemed like an eternity. When... she felt something.

Openning her eyes, she reached her hand out. Then a bright light appeared. It began to swallow the darkness.

'Have... you come to save me?...'

Roxanne smiled as the light enveloped her.

Roxanne appeared in a school field, sitting behind a girl. This girl was an exact copy of her. From the blonde hair, to her face. The only difference was their eyes... she had red, the girl had blue. She looked around... it was light here. It was warm...

"Come on, Brianna, that was the bell!" Another girl said while running off. Her replica got up and walked off after her. Roxanne wanted to be their friend... "Hey! Wait up!" She tried to call out to them, but they ignored her. Roxanne frowned. She ran after them. "W-Wait for me! You're going too fast!" Roxanne started to feel that light fade away. She looked behind her, the darkness was closing in.

"D-Don't make me go back in there!!" She screamed. She tried to run faster, but ended up tripping. Anger built up inside there. "I'm not going back there!" As she reached out, Roxanne grabbed the girl. They both fell back into the darkness. 

Brianna awoke in a world unlike the one she was just in. It was cold... and dark.. never ending. She tried to walk around. "H-Hello?.." She heard footsteps and tried to look around. "I-Is someone there?..." Out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone who looked of her. Their hair was flipped. Except her eyes were... piercing red. "W-Who are you?..." The girl did not answer, she merely tipped her head to the side. Brianna was freaked out. She quietly raised her hand. The girl repeated her action.

Brianna repeated doing different actions as the girl copied. She started to freak out, and tried to run. The girl pushed her down. "You.. can't leave..." Brianna turned to face her. "W-Why?!" The girl bent down towards her and whispered into her ear. 

"I'm you, silly.." That's when she left Brianna and disappeared into her world. 

A girl was shaking Brianna. "Hey are you alright? You were spacing out..." She smiled at her friend, "Of course I'm fine! Never better!" Roxanne had been unleashed, with Brianna as her prisoner.
