Undying Love

Humans don't taste that bad?

It was another day as a zombie and I couldn't wait. It was going to be fun, killing humans and eating there corpse, which I've heard tastes really nice as a zombie. Well we don't really have taste buds anymore so it wouldn't really have too much taste.

Me and tori went out hunting for humans. We were hungry, I hadn't eaten since I was alive. Usually the best time to hunt would be dawn when it's dark and much more easier to hear sound, So this makes it so much more simpler to hunt. But it was noon so this wouldn't be the best time to hunt. Humans are usually out and about in the day, which is good because we have a high chance of finding food but also a higher chance of getting killed by our food. We were in the woods, trying find any stray humans lost. Tori and I had a plan to catch humans. One of us would be the bate and the other would be the killer. The bate would distract the victim and then the killer would go for the kill, the bate would then come in to help and while doing so checking if there are any other humans around. Of course I was the bate, tori had been undead for much longer than me so knew how to kill.

After a while of hunting we found one. A all alone big bundle of delicious human meat, walking around in the forest probably lost. He had no weapon so this one would be easy. I got into position and waited for him to see me. Tori ran off and disappeared into the woods. "Where did she go?" she was gone. If I couldn't see her then the human definitely couldn't. Suddenly, as the man is looking at me with fright, she comes out from no where and tackles him to the ground and starts to kill him, blood and guts. I run towards them. "Is he dead" I say with my voice full of excitement.
"Yep, he's all ready to eat!"she sounding excited too
"Yay, im starving"
"I know honey, you can eat it's brain and intestines and I will have whatever you don't want. I'm not that hungry"
"OK yay" we pick up and carry the body back to our house. Oh yeah we have a house, it's my old house that has been all messed up so no one will come in. I rip off its head and eat it's brains out
"Mmm not bad, tastes exactly how you would expect. No taste"
"I know I love it" she says looking out the window. I look at her with confusion"What you looking at".
She looks at me "I have a feeling something bads going to happen" it's been months since the apocalypse and the military or anything haven't fought back properly yet. But I have a feeling they will soon and there will be a lot of deaths."
" oh, well we are trying to take over the humans planet so it's going to happen. We just have to fight back"
"Yeah" she looks back out side and thinks ' we need to get out of here, we aren't safe. I can't loose him'
