Ash's POV

By now school was over and Jacob wondered in the door. I heard another voice with him and thought oh no. Why would he bring mark with him?

Jacob walked in and a really hot guy who was definitely not mark followed him in.

"Capren this is Ash" Jacob introduced him.

"Hey ash" he smiled

"Hey" I smiled back

"Can we watch with you?" Jacob asked.

"If you want but don't be loud I don't feel great right now" I said.

They sat down on the other couch and started talking. I peacefully watched Scream Queens. Capren casually looked at me every now and then. But he looked away as I looked at him.

They left and went into the kitchen. I went on my phone and texted Bree.

Queen B 👑 - ashhhhh

Sidehoe ➰ - jacob has a new friend

Queen B 👑 - oh

Sidehoe ➰ - don't worry b it's a guy and his name is capren

Queen B 👑 - good, maybe you'll get lucky 😉 is he cute?

Queen B 👑 - never mind I found his insta. damn girl

Sidehoe ➰ - ikr he's super hot. but like he keeps looking at me and it's great

I watched some more tv and they came back. Wait no only capren came back.

"What's you snapchat?" he asked as he sat down beside me handing me his phone.

I put my username in and handed him his phone back. He smiled at me and asked me how my day was. "It was good" I smiled a little "Are you sure?" he questioned "No actually. Not really." I sighed "Wanna explain? I've got some time and I'll listen" I explained my entire day to him and he replied with "Well, your really nice and your really pretty so I don't know what his problem is. Or anyone's problem. I don't understand people sometimes, all you gotta do is forget about what they think" he smiled at me "Thanks Capren, it means a lot to me, and in all honestly I'm not sick but after all that I felt nauseous and I really needed to get out of that damn school" I smiled back "I totally understand, our nurse is so gullible it's easy to fake it" we both laughed.

Jacob came back in and looked at us weird "Well that was fast. I thought it might take you two a few days to become friends" we looked at each other and laughed. He shook his head and sat down beside Capren. We watched Scream Queens because I was already watching it and the boys seemed to enjoy it.

After a while of watching shows and talking, my mom offered Capren for supper and he called to ask. He said he could and him and Jacob went upstairs to play video games. I went into the kitchen and my mom said "So if you aren't actually sick than why are you at home? Your not in trouble but I'd like to know" She smiled as she started chopping up vegetables. I explained everything and she said "Awe honey, I cant believe it!" she came over and hugged me as a tear slipped from my eye. "But say, that boy Capren. He's pretty cute dont you think?" Oh sure he was nice on the eyes but really? "Moooooom" I whined "Oh okay but you know I'm only telling the truth" I smiled as I rolled my eyes and turned around to walk into the living room.

I sat on the couch and I got a text message. As you guessed. It was mark. I ignored it.

Mark - hey

Mark - look I'm sorry

Mark - Ash please.

Mark - Hello?

I didn't care. I ignored him even though I kinda wanted to reply.

I texted Jacob because he was upstairs.

Ash - hey if Mark text's you, ignore it.

Jacob - ok I will

Jacob - you okay?

Ash - yeah I'm fine, I'm positive

On the inside I wasn't okay. I trusted him after all that happened and I shouldn't have. In a way I knew it was gonna happen, but I didn't think it would have this soon into our friendship. And we were getting so close. It didn't matter. He wasn't getting back that easy. You might think yeah right Ash, two days and you'll be back with him. Not this time. Two can play at that game.
