I was in the middle of class when my phone vibrated. I decide to wait until after class to check it because I always end up getting caught and then the teacher takes it for the rest of the day, and then I have to go after class to get it, and then I end up missing the bus. So moral of my story is DONT TAKE YOU PHONE OUT IN CLASS!

*ring ring (that's the bell)

Thank god that class is over. Lunch here I come! Took out my phone to see who texted me and I didn't know the number

unknown number: hey man! whats up?

Olivia: umm hey... who is this?

unknown number: oh shit this isn't Aaron is it?

Olivia: no sorry this is Olivia. Who is this?

unknown number: this is Hayes. My friend gave me your number instead of his

Olivia: well I'm sure he didn't mean too. But anyways I have to go, class is about to begin. I'll talk to you later Hayes

Hayes: bye Liv!

I put my phone in my bag and rolled my eyes at what he called me. The only person that calls me that are my cousins Shawn and Aaliyah. They live in Canada so I rarely get to see them because of this thing called the Atlantic Ocean... and that we are on different continents. Shawn and Aaliyah's mom, my Aunt Karen, is my moms sister, but when she met my Uncle Manny they moved to Ontario and that's where they stayed. I really miss them. Aaliyah is like a litter sister to me and we talk already once a week. Me and Shawn are even closer than that we talk almost daily and he is my best friend.

I was sat at my desk in my fifth period class (my last period class) and I didn't even realize that I was crying until my teacher spoke up.

"Olivia do you need to be excused?" Ms. Baker asked sweetly.

"Please" I said as I packed up my bag to leave. I thanked her and left the building and started walking to my car that was parked in the middle of the student parking lot. I got in and turned on the radio and headed home. All I knew was I needed to talk to Shawn and I knew he had today off because he was on some tour. I think he said it was called MagCon. But don't quote me on that. It took about 10 minutes to get home and I was already there. I unlocked the door dropped my bag on the floor and went up to my room and FaceTimed Shawn.

"Shawn! I miss you so much!"

"Liv I miss you too! But aren't you supposed to be in school?"

"Yeah I ended up crying in the middle of  my last period because I was thinking about how much I miss you and Aaliyah so the teacher excused me from class"

"Awe I miss you too and I know Aaliyah does too. You are literally all she talks about 'When is Liv coming back? Did you see Liv's latest instagram? Liv this Liv that!' It's actually really funny"

"I hope we are coming over for Christmas this year I heard mom and dad talking about it so if that's the case then I get to see you guys in a month!"

Me and Shawn continued talking for another hour and Hayes was blowing up my phone. I said goodbye to Shawn and opened my messages to see what Hayes wanted

Hayes: hellooooo
Hayes: it's me
Hayes: LIVVVV
Hayes: are you dead?
Hayes: my friend is on FaceTime with someone named Olivia rn hahah
Hayes: answer me!

Olivia: chill I'm not dead

Hayes: yay!

Olivia: what do you want?

Hayes: to get to know you
