For the past month I've been going to see a therapist every Monday and Thursday after school. I would be lying if I said it wasn't helping.

"Babe, I know" I laughed as I was talking to Hayes on the phone

"But I get to see you in a month and I'm just really, really excited!" He said sounding adorable

"I know, Hayes" I laughed again

"You seem so much happier these past few days"

"I really am. And I have you to thank for that" I said and started to get emotional

"No baby, don't thank me. I'm just here to help"

"I gotta go before I start crying" I giggled and wiped my eyes

"Okay babe"

"Bye" I smiled and then hung up.

"Liv! We're going to Matt's!" Shawn yelled. Shawn and I've been over to Matt's a few times, he seems nice but I'm only saying that because he's Shawn's friend

"Okay" I yelled back and got changed into something more presentable than my sweat pants

"Let's go" Shawn said and I followed him out to his Jeep

"Who else is going to be here?" I asked

"Um, I think it's just us and maybe Laur" Shawn said with a smile on his face. I know he and Laur broke up a year ago but they are still good friends

"Matt has the biggest crush on you" Shawn randomly blurted

"K..."

"If he tries to make a move on you, tell me and I'll deal with it" Shawn assured me. It was like he could tell that I was getting anxious

"Thanks, Shawn" I smiled as we parked in front of Matt's house

"I love the way you pronounce stuff" He laughed and I laughed with him until Matt cane outside to meet us

"Hello my British friend" Matt laughed and hugged me. I tensed up because he makes me uncomfortable

"Hey man" he said to Shawn and then we followed him inside his MASSIVE house. Luckily, Laur was already there downstairs where he led Shawn and I. I took a seat on the couch on the opposite side of Laur.

"Hey, Liv. Can you help me bring down some drinks?" Matt asked me

"Its Olivia. And yes, I'll help" I scoffed because the only people that can call me 'Liv' is my family and Hayes. I got following him up the stairs but he suddenly stopped at the top causing me to loose balance. I squealed and Matt grabbed my arm

"I am so sorry" he apologized 

"It's fine" I smiled. Matt garbled my arm, bringing me to the pantry which made me really confused. He shut the door and turned the light on

"M-Matt, what are you doing?"  I asked when I noticed him leaning in and without any warning he placed his lips on mine, roughly. I tried to push him off me but he wouldn't move. I didn't kiss back just stood there helpless. He finally pulled away and just looked at me

"YOU BITCH! I HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND YOU NOW THAT!" I yelled and slapped him, then Shawn opened the door

"Why are you yelling?" He asked

"Because your asshole of a friend over here, just kissed me" I said infuriated while pointing at Matt

"What the hell, man. She's my best friend, cousin and she has a boyfriend. You knew either was you couldn't have her but you do this. Text me when you get your thoughts straight" Shawn snarled and led me out to his car. I sat down with my head in my hands and started to cry

"Liv. Don't cry. It wasn't your fault and I know you didn't enjoy it or kiss back" Shawn said rubbing my back

"Yes, but I don't know what Hayes is going to say when I tell him" I sobbed

"If you want, I can be there when you tell him. We can FaceTime him when we get home. He'll understand, Liv" He comforted me

"O-Okay" I sniffled and gave Shawn a hug. This is going to be hard to explain
