You'd think after all this time, my feelings for Noah would've vanished. Well, I tried desperately for them to go, because the more I held on to this stupid thing called hope, the more heartbreak I would endure when he found someone better for him.

Someone prettier. Someone funnier.

Someone who was everything I wasn't and never will be.

Then, when my negative thoughts started getting the best of me, I gave myself a pep talk, lifted my chin up and told myself that if he didn't like me for me, that was his loss.

Oh, don't get me wrong, he never did anything wrong. We didn't stop our little adventure because he found someone or I found someone or we both lost feelings. It was just a case of drifting apart from one another, a natural thing.

It did hurt at first, made me question what I could've done differently to prevent our distance from occurring, but I did get over it and now here we are. Closer than before.

Well, minus the whole, benefits, situation. Sigh.

My heart wants him to be mine, my vagina wants his dick to remain in there forever.

Kidding...not really.

Now, in the present, we're both just going with the flow, we've never really had a full conversation on what happened, but then again there's nothing really to discuss other than the
fact we fucked each other.

And it was a good fuck, mind you.

I narrowed my eyes at Noah's sly remark, and my body felt extremely hot as his hand lowered to my ass. Oh, two can play at this game. I casually gripped his wandering hand, brought it to my leg and crossed my leg over the other, trapping his hand in my inner thigh. I scanned my surroundings, coming off as unfazed by this little situation.

I glanced over at Noah, our eyes connecting. His soft lips turned into a cheeky smile, and he moved towards my ear. He opened his mouth, and very loudly said, "Stop harassing me, Sierra!"

Everyone in the canteen turned to look at us, and I shoved his hand back to him and punched him in the arm. His very strong arm, might I add. He bursted into laughter, as did Juliet and Harrison who sat opposite us. I huffed and rolled my eyes, silently laughing along.

After a while, the bell rang signalling the end of lunch. Noah stood up and grabbed my hands, pulling a bit too roughly, causing me to crash into his muscly chest. His hands automatically held my waist to steady me, his smirk indicating he was enjoying our close proximity. Me being the brave soul that I am, I looked into his eyes, then slowly looked down at his soft lips, and abruptly moved away from him. Sending him a wink as he stared at me, I headed towards my last class of the day.

Heading out the college doors, I scanned the crowd of students, in search of Juliet. Sighing at the sight of blurry-ness, I pulled my glasses out and placed them on my face. Much better.

I spotted Juliet taking with Noah and headed over to the two of them. Smiling as my eyes connected with Noah's, I looked at Juliet. "What're you hoes talking about?"

Juliet grinned mischievously and replied, "Just lecturing Noah on the importance of protection when indulging in the sexual activity that could lead to an unexpected pregnancy." I raised an eyebrow in amusement as she continued on,

"I heard you guys were going on a date, so I just wanted to make sure no baby making takes place." I laughed and said, "it's not a date."

Noah three his arm around my shoulders and replied back cheekily, "Yet." I just rolled my eyes in response, when internally I was blushing.

A car rolled up next to us with the window down, Jace on the driver seat with May besides him. He turned to Juliet, "Get your ass in the car, loser." She stuck her middle finger at him and got in, asking if I needed a ride. I shook my head no and said I'll walk home with Noah and they drove off.

"Who said I'm walking home with you?" I shoved Noah at his comment, and walked towards the direction of my house.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. I wanted to know what kind of outfit I should wear. What if he was taking me to a physical activity like trampolining and I pulled up wearing a dress and heels? This is why surprises are so stressful.

As if reading my mind, he simply said, "Wear something you don't mind getting dirty in." Oh my mind.

As we neared my house, Noah said he'll pick me up in half an hour, and we parted ways for now.

Walking into my house, it was quiet. Thank fuck. At least I didn't have to run into my stinky uncle.

Rushing up the stairs, I quickly used the bathroom and then changed into some black joggers that were cuffed at the ankles, and threw on a grey short sleeved top that ended just below my belly button, showing off my piercing. Pulling my hair into a high ponytail, I headed into the kitchen and made myself some toast. Short and effortless.

Taking my phone out of my pocket, I scrolled through snapchat, not even bothering to watch people's stories as I mindlessly tapped through them. Going to the chat section, I opened a text from a group chat of me, Juliet and May, called "HoesOnly".

Juliet: don't forget the protection Sierra!! 🍆👀
May: wait what?!!! Sierras getting some dick tonight and I wasn't informed!!!😡

Laughing I replied,
Sierra: I'm not getting any dick tonight 😤 it's simply a friendly outing!

Juliet: friendly outing my ass bitch.

Sierra: suck it🙄

May: I'm still confused 😔

As I was about to reply to May, I received a text from Noah, telling me he was outside. Who even needs to ring the doorbell nowadays.

I pulled on my trainers and quickly went outside. Seeing Noah standing by his car, looking as hot as ever, I internally screamed. How does someone look so good.

He opened my door for me and I said, "Is that you being an actual gentleman for once?" He closed his door and flicked me on my forehead, starting the engine up.

The car ride was 20 minutes, and consisted of me and Noah arguing about whether water was wet or not. Water is wet. End of discussion.

"Okay but when someone throws water on you, you say, 'omg I'm wet now' because the water that was thrown on you was wet!"  He argued back saying, "but if you go in the ocean and swim underwater, you aren't wet are you? Because you're surrounded by water, but when you emerge out you become wet because the substance of the water makes you wet, not the actual water!"

I simply rolled my eyes at him, that doesn't even make sense! Whatever.

I didn't even notice when we reached our destination. I eyed the sign and it said "Clacton's paintballing centre."

I looked back at Noah, and he smiled knowingly at me.

The last time we came here, was when me and Noah had our first kiss.
