Kaity pov

I took him down the streets right into the woods and half way into the woods I stoped. We both sat down on the log behind us. It was awkwardly silent for a while. I looked at him and could tell he was about to cry. So I looked at him and said " i love this place especially in the fall." Then I spend and threw the colorful leaves in the air. He smirked and got up then threw a big pile of leaves 🍃 at me we did this for a while. Until we ran out of breath and sat back down on the logs. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and asked what happened. He told me everything. I said " why don't you tell anybody ur dad abuses you." He shrugged at me and said " I don't know." He looked at me and said " tell me about u life." I looked at him and I said I'm adopted and my mom died in a fire. It's a lot to tell people so I just keep it most the time. My foster mom is a doctor and she works all the time and she single. I love her don't get me wrong but I still wish I had my other mother. A tear ran down my face I never talked about this. I missed my mom a lot and I wish I still had her here with me. I miss her smiling at me and kissing me on the forehead. He wiped the tear of my face and for a while we just looked at the sky for a while.

Jordan's pov :

When she was telling me about her mom I suddenly thought maybe I don't have it so bad. As the sun was going down we decided to head back. I looked over at her and could tell she was freezing. I smirked and took off my sweat shirt and gave it to her. She looked over at me and smiled.
