Jordan's pov
When I woke up I looked out my window so I could see the pretty blue sky. I hopped out of bed and my feet touched the cold floor. I grabbed a bowl and got some oatmeal. Their is this one part of the day we're everything is perfect. The sun shines right on Kaitys house. She always comes down her drive way smiling. Wow she so pretty today she has a pink bow in her hair and a pretty pink dress on. As I was looking at her I heard loud footsteps coming down the hallway. I suddenly felt fear and I was scared. My dad came down the hallway screaming stuff and had thrown things at me. He was ranting on about how I didn't treat with respect. The mornings are when he really gets drunk. I said " dad what did I do this time." He said " don't be sarcastic with me boy." He got very angry and started to hit me with a Science book.It was sitting on the counter from me studying the night before. I Jumped out the chair as quickly as I could and ran out the house. As Kaity looked at me I could fill butterflies in my stomach. I knew he was behind me chasing me with that science book. but I was too distracted by her beauty that I suddenly wasn't scared anymore. Kaity suddenly grab my hand her hand was so soft and warm. She grabbed me and pulled me suddenly I felt safe.
