It was couple months later, Cherry and Tom were still together. Angel didn't try to attempt to steal Tom from her after getting punched by Cherry. Angel's friends didn't want to have anything to do with her after getting caught for beating Cherry up.
Cherry woke up that morning to the sound of news on the tv. Her parents were watching the news. Cherry gets dressed and grabs her bag and walks down the stairs. "Cherry ?" Her mother calls. "Yes mom ?" Cherry asks. "Did you know an Angel Matthews ?" Her mother asks. "Yeah, she's the one who put me in the hospital. Why ?" Cherry asks. Cherry's mother had a pained look on her face. "Well she died last night" Her mother says. "What ?!?!" Cherry shrieks. "This has got to be a joke ! How did she die ?" Cherry asks. "She died in a car accident last night" Her mother says. Cherry looks at the news. She watches it and her heart dropped. Cherry just stood there. Then the doorbell rang and Cherry was brought back to reality. Cherry opens the door. Tom stood there, eyes puffy and red. "So I'm guessing you heard about Angel " Cherry says. Tom nods and took her hand. "I'm sorry but she's my ex and someone I've grown up with" Tom mumbles. "I get it. You don't need to explain. It's just shocking right now" Cherry says softly. She hugs him. Tom starts to cry. "It's going to be fine. I'm here if you need me" She says. "I'll always need you" Tom says softly. His words melted Cherry's heart.
