They drove in silence, the radio softly playing an unknown tune in the background. She was lost in thoughts, trying her best to figure out exactly why her heart was beating so fast.

He smiled at the road, a million thoughts running through his mind. Who was this Gwendolyn? Why did she have this effect on him already?

He stole a look sideways at her and noticed fading bruises on her cheek and arm. He'd ask later.

She began to shake as they parked in a garage.

"This is it." He smiled and put the car in park. "Just a warning, the boys are a bit....hyper."

She nodded, shaking more.

"Hey, you'll be ok." He pulled her into his arms. "They won't hurt you. Lou will probably hug you and Harry will try to flirt but they mean no harm."

She nodded visibly relaxing.

"I won't let anyone hurt you." He mumbled hoping she didn't hear.

But she did. And a genuine, real smile stretched across her face.

"Thank you Niall."

He grinned for What seemed to be the millionth time within a few hours and Hughes her close.

Those three words had his heart racing. Could he have found his princess already?
