Mitch looks down at his phone. His expression suddenly changes. "Is everything ok?" I ask. "Yea everything is fine." He forces a smile that wasn't convincing at all, "I have to get a few things from the car" he says and gets up. He leaves his phone behind. I couldn't help it, I had to see what was upsetting him. I unlock his phone. I look at the text in horror. The text reads: hey babe, why don't you ditch that girl tonight and come over again. Make an excuse just like last time <3
Tears flooded my eyes. Don't cry. I said to myself. Mitch started to come back. I kept his phone in my hand. He was coming back with what looked like a folded up tent. No way was I sleeping in tent all night with this dude. He was no longer a friend. He was a jerk, I thought I could trust him. The tears quickly disappeared from my eyes. My teeth clenched. My sadness was turning into anger. As he came back, he looked at his phone and looked at me. He saw my expression. He opened his mouth to say something and I cut him off. "Don't say your sorry or any crap like that!" I said," I thought I trusted you! I should've known! You are like everyone else! Someone who pretends to care but doesn't! Don't say you care cause obviously you don't!" I threw his phone on the ground and ran. I didn't look back.
Mitch's POV
I looked at my phone. Emily texted me. No no no not the greatest time Emily. Elizabeth asked me what's wrong. I just said I had to get something from the car. I walked over there and got the tent. As I was walking over, I saw she had my phone. She read the text. She totally exploded. Before I could say anything, she ran off. I didn't bother chasing her. She wasn't coming back.
😱 this story was getting kinda boring to me. I thought to put a little twist AND a cliff hanger! >:)
Mkay. I'm tired now.
