Third Person POV
Yuri sits in a bathroom stall after just getting the results of his first competition. He had promised to tell Riya-onee-san the results, but he couldn't bare to even imagine her disappointed. So instead he texts her, as he starts crying. There was no way, no matter how understanding, Riya was going to hear him this way. Just as he hit send and started to bawl, a loud *bam* was heard on his stall.
As he slowly opens the door, there stands Yuri Plisetsky, the Russian Junior skater. Poor Japanese Yuri was so scared out of his wits he could barely even hear him shouting that there was no need for two Yuri's. Oh but he heard him, even if he didn't respond. As the Russian Yuri leaves, the other Yuri sinks to the floor, clutching his phone like a life line.
Back home Riya is eagerly awaiting Yuri's call, but instead only gets a text. Saying simply, " I got last. I'm sorry for tarnishing your name by using your music." Riya as we all know is a very nice person, however at times, she loses her temper.
This is one of those times.
Angrily texting him back, she leaves nothing to be mistaken that she is very upset by his text. Riya is not upset that he lost, no, she's upset that he didn't share the burden and that he would think she would care over something as petty as tarnishing her name. She is royally pissed, which Yuri will soon be able to tell when he reads her texts that contain such vulgar language that she never uses.
Finally putting down her phone, she leaves it at her apartment while she grabs her cello case to play again. Like always. However, once she gets to the studio, she no longer feels angry, only sad. Sad for her self-appointed little brother, who had his dreams so easily crushed.
And she begins to play, after all playing is the only way she truly knows how to express her feelings. Grabbing a piece that she wrote when feeling just like this, she plays it with a passion.
Letting her emotions finally take control. Yes, Riya is always nice, but even she is not always happy.

Heartbroken, Yuri is leaving the stadium where he had his first true competition. Getting on the plane, and talking to his trainer, Yuri finds himself ready to give up.
As he walks out he sees his idol, Victor Nikiforov also leaving. Even with just walking, he captivates everyone, reminding Yuri of a certain musical genius. His spirits plummet further thinking about Riya.
Deciding to go back home, basically considering retirement already, Yuri turns around to leave for what he thinks might be the last time.
______________Time Skip______________
Yuri arrives at the airport after completely letting himself go, to live in his home town once again.
What he didn't expect to see was posters of him up every where in the airport. He also didn't expect to see his teacher and onee-san waiting there for him. One shouting and one pouting. I'm sure you can guess which is which. As is turns out, Yuri never answered Riya's texts, making her sulk.
Now it's no surprise that Riya is cute, but her pouting or angry makes her 10 times cuter. This makes Yuri want to pinch her cheeks even when she's older. So he tries just that. For not so obvious reasons Yuri is easily deflected and punched away.
Most people don't know, but Riya has special martial arts training given to her by her parents for protection. Thus, allowing her to easily destroy Yuri when he came to pinch her cheeks.
Riya is still majorly upset. But only over the fact that he never answered. A small fact is that Yuri is slightly afraid of Riya and didn't want to text her back in fear of making her more upset. Not texting her back though, was a very bad move as now she is sulking because she is lonely and doesn't want to show it.
"You really let yourself go, Yuri-san." Riya says quietly but bluntly. An imaginary arrow shoots through Yuri's heart. "Ah, nice to see you Riya-onee-san." Yuri replies as he gets up from the emotional attack.
"Hmph, obviously not if you wouldn't reply to any of my texts." She mutters under her breath. Both Minako and Yuri heard her though.
"I'm sorry Onee-san, I didn't want to make you any more angry." He whispers sadly. Minako looks slightly uncomfortable with the atmosphere, and tries to cheer them up.
"Well why don't we get back to the Inn and fully catch up, and Yuri you can tell us how and why you gained a lot of weight." Minako says threatening like.
The look written on Yuri's face is terror. Oh look there's world too. Eek! He continues shivering as all three get in the car to drive back to the inn.
