Jess:
"Can't wait to meet you all at Minecon 2014 in beautiful LA! I will catch you all later byeeeee" I said as I end my vlog.
I get up and finish packing my suitcase for Minecon. My plane doesn't leave till tomorrow but I like to be prepared. It's 6pm so I decide to go out and get McDonald's for dinner, Take-away of course. I eat in front of the tv and watch the news.
I decide to go to bed early since my flight is at 10:30am and I want to be there at least 2 hours early. So I can find where I need to go. I take a quick shower and dress in my pajamas before crawling into bed. I scroll through my twitter feed for minutes and reply to fans who are tweeting about my Vlog.
At 10pm I plug my phone into its charger and put my earphones in. Listening to music helps me sleep, I press play and let the music put me to sleep.
RING RING RING
I sit up in bed and turn my alarm off. As much as I want to lay back down it's 7am and I need to get ready to leave. I jump out of bed and put the clothes on I laid out yesterday. a white top, jeans and my converse. I go to the bathroom and brush my hair. I decide to wear it down because it looks nice and wavy. I pack my things in the taxi and by 7:30am I'm on my way to the airport.
I get to the airport at 8:30am I pay the driver and get my bags. I walk inside and head straight to the desk where they take my suitcase. I go through security easily and head to Starbucks to get coffee and breakfast. After eating I go on twitter for a bit while I wait for them to call for boarding.
Half an hour later at 9:30am they announce that its time for my plane to board. I pick up my carry on bag and take out my passport and flight ticket. I head to the gate and show the attendant my ticket and she gestures me to board.
I walk down the tube thing the leads to the plane and start to get nervous, I haven't been on a plane since I was 5. I get to my seat and sit down. I've got a window seat which will be pretty cool.
When everyone is on board they give us a rundown of the safety stuff and tell us to turn off electronics for take-off. I take my phone out of my bag and turn it off.
I place my bag on the floor and let out a big sigh.
Man:
"Scared?"
Jess:
"Oh" I laugh nervously. "a little, you?"
Man:
"Me? nah I've flown a lot" he says with a smile. "Oh I'm Mitch by the way"
Jess:
"I'm Jess, nice to meet you." I shake his hand. "You don't sound like your from Australia?"
Mitch:
"You got me!" he laughs. "I was born in Canada, moved to LA and was just visiting here, you?"
Jess:
"I live here, born more up north though"
Mitch:
"Oh cool, It's a beautiful place" he compliments.
Jess:
"Yeah I love it." I say and smile.
Mitch:
"So what brings you to LA?"
Jess:
"Well Minecon and I'm meeting/staying with a friend of mine."
Mitch:
"Oh that's cool, I'm going too."
Jess:
"Yeah I know" I laugh. "I watch your videos and I'll be staying at your house."
Mitch:
"Oh you're Jason's friend right?"
Jess:
"Yeah, Kinda funny to meet like this"
Mitch:
"Yeah, but it's great to meet you before the others"
Jess:
"Yeah" I laugh
Mitch:
"Wanna play a prank on them?" He asks with the biggest grin
Jess:
"Yes! What do you have in mind?" I grin back.
