I follow Mitch up the steps and he rings the door bell. We wait for a few minutes then we hear some movement in the house.
Mitch:
"Ready?"
Jess:
"Ready!"
I've got butterflies in my tummy, I can't wait to see their reaction. Someone starts unlocking the door and Mitch starts counting down.
Mitch:
"3...2...1"
As the door opens we thow our water bombs and instantly hear calls for mercy. When we finished throwing them we see a dripping wet Jason looking at us very unimpressed.
Jess:
"Hey Jas" I smile as big as I can
Jason:
"Hey to you to Jess" he starts to crack a smile. "Come give me a hug!"
Jess:
"No way you stay away from me."
I laugh but he starts walking closer, I turn to run but he chases me and Mitch just stands at the door laughing at us. Jason manages to catch me and give me a big wet hug and wet me with the hose. We decide to turn on Mitch and hug him too. He must have guessed our plan because he already started running inside and closed the door on us. We started banging on the door yelling at Mitch to let us in but of course he didn't.
We rung the door bell and waited for someone to come and let us in. A half-asleep Adam opened the door looking confused to see me and Jason dripping wet.
Jason:
"Morning Adam, uh meet Jess she's my friend that's staying with us for a bit."
Adam:
"Hey, nice to meet you"
Jess:
"You too"
I bring my bags in and Jason takes Mitch's bags to his room, then we go to Jason's room.
Jason:
"You can leave your things in here and we can share a bed or one of us can have the couch."
Jess:
"I'm good with either." I smile.
Jason and I have been friends for about 2 years so we're really close, close enough to sleep in the same bed.
Jess:
"We should get revenge on Mitch for locking us out and drenching you"
Jason:
"You helped with the drenching!" He laughed
Jess:
"Yeah but you got me drenched to, Plus it was his idea" I giggled
Jason:
"It's always Mitch or Jerome behind the pranks"
Jess:
"Even the more reason to get him back"
Jason:
"okay we'll get him back, any ideas?"
Jess:
"Just one"
I explained my plan to Jason and we got to work, we ran down stairs and saw everyone had woken up so we had to be sneaky. Luckily Mitch was in the pool cooling down which would be perfect.
Jess:
"Hey Mitch"
Mitch:
"Hey Jess,No hard feelings for locking you out?"
Jess:
"hmm I dunno,I think a hug would make up for it"
Mitch:
"A hug?"
Jess:
"Yups"
Mitch got out of the pool and headed over to give me and hug as I signaled for Jason to come out. Right before Mitch got to me Jason threw a bowl of flour at Mitch and we both laughed.
Mitch:
"Oh ha ha, you think that's funny how about this"
Mitch picked me up, I started screaming for him to put me down, everyone came outside to see what was going on just as Mitch threw me into the pool in my already drenched clothes. I surfaced and asked him for a hand getting out, when he offered his hand I put all my weight into pulling him in.
Everyone was laughing as Jason jumped in and joined us. Soon everyone was jumping in fully clothed and laughing. Great way to start the day if you ask me!
