Hello everyone. This is not an update but I am working on the first couple chapters now and will be posting them soon. However, I would like to get a couple of ideas out to see what everyone thinks and I would like to say a couple things too.
One, I would like to thank everyone for sticking with the half baked writing that I wrote when I was a freshman in high school. I also want to thank all of you who gave me advice and kept giving me tips and pointers that I have cradled over the years to improve my writing. I am a much better writer now than I was 3 years ago and I am so happy about that.
Two, I want to know what you all think about changing Maddie's name to a different one. Her name would be Theamis (Thea-mis) because Themis (Thee-mis) is the Greek goddess of order and peace; she defends peace as well. Thea also means a blessing from God. I figured that Diana named her this because she knew she would be just like her father, making sure that if there is injustice or evil, that peace and good overpowers the evil and that the justice and light overpower and defeat the unjust of the world. Also that she was a blessing because Diana couldn't have kids but Theamis was a, well, blessing from the Gods. Thea is what her friends would call her. Dick could call her T, Thee, or by her middle name. { I have to figure out if I want to make it Kala or Noelani, I was thinking Kala because it means princess in Hawaiian and well Theamis would be a princess, but I really like Noelani because it means mist of Heaven in Hawaiian, and that's going to be my future daughters middle name } [if anyone has other middle names, let me know in the comments or you can message me] (her nickname would be Lani if her middle name was Noelani)
Three, I wanted to give you all a little teaser and then tell me what you all think.
I'm going to put out a chapter that I have partially written, shortly after I publish this. Just so you all can have an actual teaser, instead of an updated version of the description. Also, I didn't like how I wrote the chapter where she kind of dies so I'm going to change and delete a bunch of things. I deleted the other chapters, but if you all want to see comparisons of what my writing was like 4 or 5 years ago versus today, then let me know. I am going to change the title and add a playlist as well as an epigraph thingy (a quote before the actual book starts).If you all have any other questions, comment or message me. Just let me know.
