Unexpected love

I've been here for about 4 years now and everyday is the same everyday. Nothing really new, I mean now and then a new camper, or the Hermes kids would do something funny to the other cabins but nothing really changes, I talked to everyone and everyone didn't mind me so people told me stuff so I was completely in the circle about everything and anything.

I sighed and sat there on the beach by camp and flipped through music on my phone, nothing was sounding good at the moment but I didn't stop till I gave up after 5 minutes ripping the earphones out and wrapped them around the phone.

I laid down on the beach watching the sun set when I hear faint talking, I looked over and noticed Mr. D with a lady. So I quickly put my earphones in and pretended not to see them. 'Clearly I don't know everything.. When did he get a girlfriend?' I thought to myself.

Till I thought they'd be gone I looked over and the lady looked to be angry and then turned her back on him, but she then looked back at him, smiling and said something then disappeared into the water.

I looked over at Mr. D who look strangely sad, like someone took his heart and smashed it to pieces.

He sat on the beach with his head hung low. Jay don't go.. If he is angry whether or not you did anything wouldn't matter he will take it out on you. I thought, but I didn't care, he looked so crushed.

I got up and slowly walked over in his direction, "Mr. D?" I asked, walking closer then when I was beside him. He didn't respond, "Can I sit?" Still no response.

I carefully sat down beside him quietly, not to bother him. I sat there quietly with him he didn't look up but he finally spoke. "Why are you here?" He said it quietly and I could hear his voice cracking a little.

I took a deep breath, "Well I was talking to my dad earlier and everyone was bugging me so I came and sat on the beach because it was quieter then my cabin..." I say's shrugging.

"The beach is off limits during these hours." He said a bit more harshly,

"I fell asleep around 3, I didn't wake up till about 10 minutes ago and I don't know the time." I slightly laughed.

"It's 8." He said then took a deep breath and clenched his fists in the sand.

"Mr. D.. I'm not going to pry, but I will let you know, if you want to talk to someone. I am always free, I mean I have been in a bad relationship, I liked him, he said he loved me then after a month he totally just ditched me for someone else. Broke up with me over Facebook after not talking to me for a week. I then threatened to go over to his house then, you know what he said? My parents want me to brake up with you so I can't see you anymore. But I don't even care about that its about he did it over Facebook! He didn't even want to face me!" I was getting rallied up about it I just took a breath and let it go again. Michael was a prick anyways.

"Look just leave me alone," He said getting up and got a few feet away. "Michael was a fool......." Mr. D Said something after that but that was the only thing I heard, I looked back at the way he went and just wondered what he had said.

I sat there for a minute then headed back to camp, I went to shower then off to the cabin to sleep, I laid in bed till around 2 when I fell asleep of boredom.

I felt something tuck at the back of my mind so I woke up and somehow felt like someone called me so I got up and dressed then stepped out of the cabin were I noticed Dionysus standing in the distance. I yawned and walked over to him. "You woke me up."

"Well you woke up yourself, I just poked. Besides you said you are free anytime.." He said then looked around, "Please come with me."

I followed him to the big house and inside. I haven't been in here much but I have every now and then and it still hasn't changed.
