             Damon's POV
I don't start walking away until I know Haven is with her family. Someone runs up and take my shoulder. I spin around to see her father with healing gashes on his face.
"Hello," I say awkwardly.  I'm silently praying he didn't see me grinding up against his daughter.
"Do you want to join us for dinner? We have a extra seat and I want to get to know you better," he says. I look away form him, looking for a excuse.
"No,I'm good. I ate before I came. I just had to talk to Haven. Thank you for the offer though," I say.  I've never sounded so proper;  I feel classy now.
"Non-sense. Just come and sit down with the rest of us then," he says. I know that there's no getting out of this so I nod. He smiles and leads me over. Haven's eyes widen. Taking a seat beside her I lean in.
"He wasn't taking no for an answer," I say. She leans back into her hair.
"Sweety, you look tired, did you get any sleep while you were with Raelee?" My mom asks.  I can't help hut want to laugh. The Princeton's are eying me. I rest my hand on Haven's thigh under the table.
"Some," Haven says. She side eyes me with a small smirk. My eye are only focused on one person and that's the ass that kissed my girlfriend. He glares at me.
Dick doesn't know what's coming to him.

After Mason's and Haven's parents go inside, leaving us alone. I lean in and kiss her  at a moment that I know he's watching. She responds as soon as it happens, placing a hand on my cheek.
"Will you two please stop?" Mason mumbles. I pull away as look at him. If looks could kill we'd both be dead.
"I'm sorry, is me showing affection to my girlfriend bothering you?" I ask smartly. He raises his brows. This guy really thinks he's tough shit doesn't he, be doesn't even know.
"Yes actually. It's inappropriate and uncalled for." I take in a deep breath to calm myself as much as I can.
"So is kissing my girlfriend," I say.  Haven looks at Mason nervously.  He stands up and comes over. I get up so we're face to face. I'm slightly taller than him.  "You act like your gonna hit me," I say.
He goes for a swing, landing a blow to my face.  I rub it for a second and push him harshly to the ground.  I've already beat someone up in front of Haven that was close to her and I don't want to do that again.
"You need to work on your swing, buddy," I say.  He stands up and straightens out his jacket. He goes for another punch but I catch it and throw my own at him.  He stumbles back.
"Please stop," Haven says in low,  quiet voice that you can hardly hear as Mason and I eye each other.
"You are so lucky she's right here. If she wasn't you'd be knocked out," in say and let her pull me inside and up to her room.  Her parents don't even take notice.
"I'll be back. I need to get out of this," she says referring to her clothes. She goes into her bathroom and comes out minutes later in a flower printed peach, baby blue, and white dress thingy that has lace going straight down to I can see from her collar bones to her stomach.  Help me.
"No, not that," I say looking at the first aid kit. I will say that my lip is still bleeding. She rolls her eyes and sits on my lap so she's straddling me. She dabs my lip with a cotton ball. So close see how long her lashes are.
"Stop staring," she says. I laugh.
"No, I can't take my eyes off of you," I say. She blushes and sets the cotton ball down.  "Are you okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, I just get scared when you get all mean with people. It's hot, but scary," she tells me.
"You think it's hot?" Again she rolls her eyes and crawls to the side of the bed she sleeps in. I lay down beside her. "What book are you reading right now?" I ask. She thinks for a second.
"The Duff," she says. I get up and search for the book. It isn't so easy when she has multiple bookshelf's that are filled. I eventually find it and go back. She cuddles herself against my side, her head on my chest. I open the book to where the bookmark is and start reading it to her. Her breaths start to even out, letting me know she's asleep. I keep reading it and what the hell. Who would read a book about a girl who falls in love with a bad boy?
