Smokescreen's form slowly rolled off of the side of the Omega Lock, and disappeared as quickly as Bumblebee had.

Every Cybertronian in the Omega Lock's battle had a shocked look upon their faceplates; even Shockwave and Starscream, and the Vehicons and Eradicons if they could show expression: except Megatron.

It was unthinkable to offline any member of their race under full mechhood.

Both were.

Optimus was the first to react. After seeing Megatron's smug faceplate, he couldn't hold back his rage.

"NOOOOO!" He screamed with as much emotion as he could muster. He slammed his frame against Megatron, successfully knocking the evil mech onto his knees. Optimus ran to him and raised his cannon for the final blow.

A searing strike of pain hit his upper chassis, and suddenly he was hanging onto a fin of the ship with one hand. Megatron slowly strode to him, looking down, Dark Star Sabre in hand.

He raised the deadly device above his helm. "Prepare to join your sparklings in the All Spark!"

A voice came from behind the silver mech, "Megatron!"

The Decepticon warlord turned around, and there was a stabbing pain in his chest. He slowly looked down. There, a long thick sword not unlike his Dark Star Sabre was protruding from the plating over his spark chamber, piercing through the Decepticon insignia emblazoned there.

His gaze traveled up to the hands holding the sword, and then to the face whom the hands belonged to.

It was impossible.

It had to be a hallucination.

But the sword was still imbedded in the metal of his heart.

"You took my voice. You'll never take anything, from anyone, ever again!"

It was the sparkling, Bumblebee. And the other one, Smokescreen, was standing beside the little black and yellow mech. Megatron glared at Bumblebee's extremely large blue ones.

The dark lord's gaze suddenly softened. They were innocent optics.

As his spark finally let out, and his glaring optics darkened, his last thought was: 'I underestimated you'.

Both Decepticons and Autobots alike stared in awe as Megatron's lifeless husk slid off of the Star Sabre, making an intensely heated descent back into Earth's atmosphere.

Optimus watched it until he could no longer see the bright flames. Even though Ratchet had tried to convince him it was impossible, Optimus had still hoped to convince Megatron to change his mind about his Decepticon ways.

"I will avenge you, master!" Starscream made a last feeble attempt to follow Megatron, but the burly scientist Shockwave pulled him back.

"Starscream! Do not be a fool!"

Starscream's loud voice echoed to the Autobots as Shockwave carried him away to the escape pods. "Curse you and your logic!"

Ratchet offered a hand, and Optimus slowly pulled himself up over the ledge. They stood in a small circle, with the sparklings standing aside. Every bot was staring at Bumblebee.

"Bee!" Smokescreen exclaimed.

"Your voice," Arcee stated.

Bumblebee's optics whirred and dilated. "My voice? What are you guys-" here he stopped, and a small gasp escaped his 'buzz box'-covered mouth. "…my voice." He ran over to Ratchet and hugged his large knee joint. "Ratch, I got my pipes back!"

Ratchet let out a rare loud-and-proud laugh and picked up Bumblebee, hugging the small bot to his upper chassis. "Yes, yes you do!"

Optimus slid aside his battle mask and smiled. "It would seem the old field medic made good after all." He turned around, away from the group, and commed the non-present members of Team Prime, "Optimus Prime to all units. Megatron… is no more."

In the base back on Earth, Rafael Esquivel – with his mouth agape – leaned back from his computer and let out a smile, while behind him, Agent Fowler performed a victory jump- a feat that seemed impossible to the young boy due to the amount of… excess weight the man had on him.

"Wreckers, a job well done securing the bridge."

"Hoo-ah!" Wheeljack shouted in glee.

Ultra Magnus shook his large head and gestured toward Miko and Jack. "It wasn't us, sir. The credit belongs to the humans."

"Hoo-ah!" Miko lept into the air, mimicking Wheeljack. With the Apex Armor activated on her, she was the size of Bulkhead- which meant that Rafael was also confused as to why she was able to lift up all that weight.

Ratchet and Optimus were speaking to each other regarding the Omega Lock.

"The Omega Lock is now in our possession. I propose we put it to good use."

"Agreed, old friend. We shall use it to bring back Cybertron."

Hours later, Team Prime was gathered on the edge of the Lock. The Nemesis was hovering directly above the Well of Allsparks, or the heart of Primus. Ratchet activated the Omega Lock, and a large beam of bright blue light shot from it, straight down to Primus's spark.

Soon, Cybertron had been restored to a beautiful, sparkling blue planet, while the Autobots looked on.

"Ahhh, such luster," came a deep, silky voice from the back of the room. Knockout was standing there, holding his buffer (packing smart really does help), and looking at the Autobots as if they were meeting for a Sunday tea party.

When they gave him a skeptical 'what on Cybertron?' look, he said defensively, as if it was completely normal, "Whaaaat, I'm joining the winning team!"

He was shot down to the ground as Bumblebee and Smokescreen kicked at his pedes so that he fell, which completely knocked him out.

"I guess small size does have its advantages," kidded Bulkhead. The team laughed- save for Optimus and Ratchet, of course.
