One week ago, gruncle Stan told us we were having a guest, no details included. He just said that the person coming was a grandchild of an old friend that would stay here for some time. Since then, he never spoke a word. I should say I am a little concerned. Okay, maybe too concerned. Stan never said anything about where will that person be sleeping or installing; after all, it seems that this individual will be staying for a long time. "Well, it is to late to decide that" I thought while walking to the door. Apparently, our guest has arrived.
I tried to smile as much as I could, but I got amazed when I saw her... God, she is beautiful. She had (e/c) eyes, (h/l) (h/c) hair, (s/c) soft skin, also, I could detect a sparkle of sadness and sorrow in her looks, as if someone had stolen something from her. I was staring at her until "Bro bro! Why didn't you tell me she was here already?" Mabel said braking my trance. I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders. "Sorry. I thought you were changing your clothes." "Alright. Then, tell me why are you blushing."
I couldn't think of an answer, but thankfully we got interrupted by gruncle Stan. "Kids! Come here." Mabel gave me a look of "this isn't over yet" and walked to Stan. "Guys, this is (y/n)." (Y/n) gives us a short smile and says "hi." "Oh. My. Gosh. Another girl in the house! We will be definitely best friends forever." (Y/n) laughs at my sister's excitement. " I hope so..." She has her hands together hanging over her lap while looking at them. "I really like your cloth, but isn't to... dark for your age?" Mabel shyly asks. "Um..." "Oh well! I'll put you some sparkles later!"
We all get into the house and Mabel takes (y/n) to our room where she can sleep for today 'till we get her another bed or room. " Hey, why don't you take (y/n) downtown for her to meet the place?" Stan suggests. "O - okay" I reply. " We should take (y/n) to the diner." Mabel says while (y/n) is still upstairs. I nod and go check if she wants to go.
"(Y/n)?" I ask while entering the room. I see her sitting on the bed looking through the triangular window. "Is everything alright? I just came to see if you wanted to go downtown." "Sure. Why not?" she replies while standing up.
