The car slowly came to a stop in the driveway of a very familiar house. The tan and gray house sent a scenes of nostalgia through me. All the memories that I have had of this place. All of them so wonderful. Well all except for the last few memories. The memory of his dad dying and the memory of me saying my goodbyes to him before I left. Those memories were horrible. I felt bad just thinking about it.

Koichi got out of the car. Slamming the door shut behind him. Not really caring that he slammed the door pretty hard. I watched from the passenger seat, as he walked up to the front door. He's so tall now. And his heeled boots made him even taller. I got out of the car as he pulled his house keys out of his pocket. Closing the car door softly, I made my way up to the door.

Opening the door, Koichi allowed me to step inside first before he did. "Come on in, don't be shy." He said as he closed the door. I looked around the place. Every thing still looks the same and yet it seems different at the same time. It's as if I didn't leave at all. The pinkette noticed my gawking expression. "Everything probably looks the same, doesn't it?" I nod in response. "Home, shit, home." He sighed walking up the stairs.

I fallowed him up the stairs. Still gawking at everything. It was amazing of how much everything looks the same. I mean there were a few differences, but that was expected. Koichi's room was still in the same room. Only now hung a red sign with white writing that said 'wrong way'.

"My room looks a bit different than the last time you saw it." He says, as he opens his bedroom door. A bit different was an understatement. The whole room looked different. No longer the childish room that it once was. The walls were covered in rock band and anime posters. A few play boy posters were also in the mess of posters on his walls. A long Japanese flag acted as a curtain for one of the windows. hanging all the way to the floor. His bed was covered with pink and black blankets and pillows. I fell that pink and black is a running theme for him. The room was a bit messy. But then again, he was never one for keeping a clean room. Not even when we were young. I noticed a black bass guitar sitting near his bed. Does he play that? I wonder when he started learning.

I smiled at the room. The room fits him. "It's cool." I said, walking into the room. Noticing the pluchies that sat in the corner, pink bears with blood dripping from the mouth. Next to those were two fluffy horned monsters. They had blue and purple fur. Teeth sticking out of their mouth. They were kind of cute. "At least we can chill out in here."

"This isn't exactly my 'chill out zone'." He sighed as he walked passed me. Walking over to his bed. "My family makes sure of that. Come in and close the door." I did as I was told. Not wanting to be rude. He went over to his bed side table's drawer and pulled some things out. "Put on some music while I smoke." I watched him. Curious of what he was doing. In his hands he held a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, and a small ash tray. He took a seat on his bed. Taking a cigarette and lighting it. Taking a long drag of the drug.

Letting him smoke, I went to do the task that was at hand. I walked over to his stereo, that was in one of the four corners of the room, Siting on top of a book shelf. I looking for any cd's that he might have. But I couldn't find any. Where are  his cd? All I see are books and a few movies. I turned to my friend on the bed. "Where are you're CD's?" I asked him.

He looked at me. A surprised expression on his face. But that only lasted for a moment. "There's a box under my bed. It has a cd in it for us to listen to." He instructs. Taking another drag.

I nod in response. Walking over to his bed. Sure enough there was a small box sticking out from underneath his bed. I leaned down and pulled it out more. Allowing me to open it. In side the box was the CD. Under that was a picture. A picture of Takashi. That's strange. I pulled the picture out. Realizing that it was folded in half. I unfolded it. Reveling the full photo. Next to Takashi was Koichi. They stood side by side. Takashi smiled at the camera as Koichi flipped the camera off. Where they friends? I found my self wondering.
