~~~Lily's Point Of View~~~
"It's such a beautiful day today, I wonder why almost no one is here" I think to myself as I jog around South Bank by myself. Distracted by some birds walking on the grass I run into someone and we both fall to the ground me on to him.
Our eyes meet and we both stare at each other until we are interrupted by a bird chirping at us. I jump off him quickly and help him up.
Lily:
"Sorry I was watching the birds, are you okay?
Harrison:
"So was I, and yeah I'm fine. Are you?"
Lily:
"Yeah, I'm all good" I smile "I'm Lily by the way"
Harrison:
"I'm Harrison, Nice to meet you"
Lily:
"You too"
We both stand there for moment, looking at each other. He looks so perfect, his smile, his teeth, his hair everything. I can't help but stand there smiling at him like an idiot.
Harrison:
"Uh do you want to maybe get lunch with me?"
Lily:
"Sure" I smile and try to act calm and natural
Harrison:
"Great, Hows does sushi sound?"
Lily:
"I love sushi!"
Harrison:
"Me too."
As we make our way to a sushi place we get to know each other more. I've learned his dad left when he was young so it's just him, his mother, Janine and his brother, Connor. He loves to sing and I've noticed he has a stutter! Sadly he lives in Melbourne and is only visiting Brisbane for the week but he wants to hang out with me while he is here!
We arrive at the sushi place and order. Harrison being a gentleman pays even though I told him not to. Oh well I'll get him back this week. We sit down and talk some more while he eat.
Harrison:
"So when are you free this week?"
Lily:
"Honestly I'm free all week."
Harrison:
"You don't have work or plans with friends?"
Lily:
"I make YouTube videos for a living I can record us doing some stuff if you don't mind?"
Harrison:
"That'd be cool" he smiled at me
Lily:
"Cool I'll make sure to bring my camera, or my phone"
Harrison:
"Cool, So I'm not interrupting plans with friends?"
Lily:
"You're probably my only real friend, well one that live in the same country as me"
Harrison:
"oh sorry"
Lily:
"It's fine" I laugh which makes him smile.
We finish eating and decide to walk back along the boardwalk until we get to were we ran into each other. More like where I tackled him. We sit at a table and his phone buzzes.
Harrison:
"Sorry, It's my mum, she wants me back at the hotel. You're welcome to come if you want?"
Lily:
"I should probably head home, maybe next time" I smile.
Harrison:
"Alright, We should give each other our numbers so we can meet up?"
Lily:
"Oh yeah" I laugh
We swap phones and put my number in his and take a silly photo and set it to my contact and I watch him do the same.
Harrison:
"Well see you again soon"
Lily:
"defiantly"
He hugs me and then walks in the direction of his hotel. I put my earphones in and start to jog back to my car to drive home. As I get in the car my phone buzzes, Its Harrison. I smile and open the text
"I had fun today, Thank you." I text him back right away "So did I :) Can't wait to do it again." I send it and put my phone on the passenger seat and start driving home.
