1 month since i've been here, trapped in this room. 1 month since the last time i saw my family. 1 month since i lost both of my best friends.

I look around the room and see the cabinet. I stand up and push it aside, letting me see the door to the balcony. I walk out and ran my hand across the railing of the balcony.

We should've escaped that night

I climb to the balcony railing and slowly sit down near the wall. I looked down and see the three of them in the porch. I look around the neighbourhood and notice how similar it looked to my neighbourhood.

I lean my head back and wrap my hands around my body, keeping me warm. I close my eyes and the door creaked open.

"What do you think you're doing?"I hear a voice behind me said

"Sitting, falling asleep"I said simply

"You aren't gonna jump are you?"Shawn asked beside me

"If i want to escape? No. If i want to kill myself? Gladly"I said

"Why didn't you escape while you still can?"He asked

"I'll ended up not escaping anyways"I said shrugging. I jump down and walk back inside

"Don't,"He said

"Stay here"He continued and i look at him

"I won't bite, i just want to get to know you"He said and i look at him for awhile before going back to the balcony. I climb to the railing and let both of my leg dangle infront of the railing. He follow my actions soon and none of us say a word

"Tell me about yourself"He finally said

"My full name's Athena Ophelia"I said and he chuckle quietly

"That's it? That's all you're telling me?"He said

"I'm 17. I'll be 18 in a few weeks"I said

"When is your birthday?"He asked

"June 17"I said

"Why are you still keeping me here?"I asked

"I can't risk going to jail anymore"He said

"What if i don't tell the police? You let me out and i'll keep my mouth shut"I said

"And what? What are you gonna tell your mom?"He asked and i stayed silent

"Why are you out here? It's cold"He said

"I just wanna go out of the room for a while"I said slightly shivering

"Here"He said taking of his maroon varsity jacket and drape it around me. I put both of my hands in and put my hands on either side of my body.

His hand slightly touch mine and i tried to ignore it. He grab my hand in his much bigger one and wrap it around my much smaller hand. I look at him to see him looking around the neighbourhood. I pull my hands back and he looked at me

"I'm gonna go back inside"I say to him and he nod. I take off his jacket and lay it beside him

"I'm sorry"He mumbled and i ignore him. I walk back inside and walk towards the bed. I pull the thin blanket over me and close my eyes, hoping that i'll never wake up
