The School Trip

Chapter 7

The kiss lasted a good minute.

I could hear voices in the background getting closer it was Violet and Hunter. I turned around suddenly to see them running towards us. Violet didn't notice that me and Chase kissed but Hunter definitely did because his smile dropped.

When they reached us they said that we were all going to go and get something to eat now. So we walked back together and i kept looking at Hunters face and how disappointed he looked. We had broken up a month ago but like i said he clearly hadn't gotten over me yet. So everytime Hunter tried to walk next to me i would walk closer to Violet.

We got to the gang and they all had smiles on their faces. We got to the restaurant which was really posh. It was called La Fontana Italian Restaurant.

The time was about 9:30pm and it was dark but a light dark. I had managed to sit in the middle with Chase on my left and Violet on my right. We all ordered our food and just sat talking at the table. I just sat looking around the restaurant when i felt Chase hold my hand under the table, which i thought was really cute. I looked at him in shock of this whole situation and he just smiled at me. When the food came me and Chase had to let our hands go while we ate, which kinda made me sad.

We finished the food but some of the group ordered desserts. Me and Chase said that we couldn't eat anymore but honestly i think it was just an excuse so that we could go back to the beach.

"Me and Chase are just gonna wait for you guys at the beach, i wanna look at the stars anyway" i said.

We walked down to the beach together and he grabbed my hand again we looked at each other and just smiled. We put down a towel and laid on it looking at the stars. I leaned my head against Chase's chest whilst we locked fingers. I enjoyed this moment. But i wasn't really sure what this was. Or what me and Chase were. Were we together now? I sat up and looked at Chase he looked disappointed that i got up because he was comfortable.

"What are we doing? What are we? Are we together?" i said, my mind all over the place.

"If you want to. Will you be my girlfriend?" he said excited for my answer.

When i didn't answer he carried on "The truth is i've liked you for a while now. But i thought you would never want to be with a person like me. But when we were on the bus we had such a good time and it made me like you even more. And then when i found out you were my trip partner i was so happy. And then when we came to the beach you looked so beautiful and cute and i just couldn't help but kiss you."

At this point i was blushing like crazy but i was so shocked at what he had just confessed.

When i finally replied with "I like you a lot and i never thought we would become close and im glad we did but you actually want to be with me why?"

I realised what i said was completely stupid but i couldn't believe we were having this conversation.

"Yes i want to be with you, because i think i might love you." he said blushing.

At this point i was full on overload in shock. After i brought myself together i said...

"Yes"
