"Good job out there, April. The crowd was really into it." John greets her after their segment.
"I guess someone didn't like it." April throws some shade as John's plastic girlfriend emerges.
She sizes April before leaning onto her man. "Babe, it didn't seem like you enjoyed that kiss with this rat, so let me refresh your mouth." With that, she gives him a quick pop kiss and smiles at him.
"It was nice talking to you, John, I'll see you around." April rolls her eyes and walks away to catering.
"Hey doll, nice work out there." Celeste winks at her best friend before placing her food down and sitting.
April sets herself down next to her and sighs. "Nikki Bella has probably gotta be the most annoying person I've ever encountered."
"She's superficial." Celeste takes the fork and pokes into her salad.
"And super jealous! Which she has no reason to be, because I don't want her man. I guess that's where the disconnect is...within her insecurities."
"What a savage." Celeste applauds, causing April to giggle.
The Shield walks over and sits down in front of them, interrupting the conversation.
"Hey ladies." Joe smiles, attempting to break the tension.
Jon and Colby stay dead silent as April and Celeste smile back at him.
"How are you?" April asked, suddenly grabbing his hand.
Jon tenses up a bit, while getting up to leave the scene.
"I, uh, I should go too...yeah." Colby gets up and follows him.
Celeste crosses her arms and turns to Joe. "Um, they need to stop."
"I know, their pettiness annoys the hell out of me." April added.
"I can understand where y'all are coming from, but Jon's always been acting weird around you, April."
April looks down. "Yeah, um." She clears her throat before getting up. "Excuse me."
She follows Jon and Colby, who end up at the door of the male locker room.
"Guys." She calls to them, causing Colby to jump a little.
"April." Jon nods toward her.
"At least be a little more civilized when I'm around Joe, kay? Thanks." She turns to walk away.
"Stop." Jon says.
April turns to face him. "Stop what?"
"Stop trying to move on from me. It's never gonna work."
April shoots a glare at him before saying, "Oh yeah? Watch me." And off she goes.
Colby awkwardly scratches the back of his neck. "Nice talking to you, too!"
Jon shakes his head at him and rolls his eyes.
