The shopping mall was very busy with only two weeks to Christmas but that didn't stop Jennifer from wanting to go shopping. Micah, a boy from school had asked Jennifer out on a coffee date, well he didn't really ask her out. He had been telling Jennifer about a coffee shop he likes in town and Jennifer had said she likes to go there on weekends so Micah said that he might see her in there on Saturday, as that was his favourite time to go too. Nevertheless what it is was, Jennifer had a huge crush on him and was counting it as a date so she wanted to go buy a new outfit. So there you both were, edging your way through the crowd with a few store bags in your hands. You probably would have said no considering the crowds and how cold it was but you needed to go Christmas present shopping. You had gotten a few things for your family but you were struggling with what to get for Jeff, he was hard to shop for.

Finally, after about three hours of straight shopping, you and your best friend found a non-crowded restaurant and sat down to eat. Jennifer had gotten about three outfits so far but wasn't done. You text Jeff to ask what he wanted as a present but he just replied back saying 'Anything'. It was a big step considering he didn't want you to get him a present at first but it still didn't help you in the slightest.

Ordering your food, you and Jennifer fell into an easy conversations with the subject mostly centered around boys.

"But, Jenny, how do you know that Micah will be there for sure?" You asked, drinking your hot chocolate

Jennifer smiled and shrugged "I have a feeling, I can detect these things. Like the feeling of jealousy I got when I found out you went to the Slender Mansion" she said, leaning over the table to nudge you playfully

You laughed. Jennifer loved the Creepypasta's, she was the only reason you knew about them in the first place. When you told her you visited there she sounded gutted, it was hilarious.

You told her she could maybe come along one day, although you didn't know how much truth there was in that but she didn't have time to say anything else as both your food arrived. Jennifer had gotten the chicken burrito with a side salad and you had gotten the burger and chips.

"So are you spending Christmas with the Creepypasta's or your parents, (Y/N)?" Jenny asked, biting into her food

Your eyes widened, you hadn't even thought of that. You spent Christmas with your parents and family every year, it was a bit overcrowded but it was just what you were used to. It would be something different to spend Christmas with the Creepypasta's but then again, you didn't even know if they celebrated it.

"I don't know, I didn't think about that. I'll have to talk to Jeff later" You responded

The rest of the shopping trip went smoothly, with the crowd thinning out as the day went by. You actually managed to find a present for Jeff too, one that you think he would like.

............................................................................................................................

You were freezing by the time you got back. The gloves, hat and scarf you wore were not sufficient enough. It just wouldn't stop snowing and now you were knee-deep in it and the cold was soaking through your boots. Jennifer lived a couple of streets away so you had parted ways about ten minutes ago and now your cheeks and the tip of your nose was tinted red with the biting chill that absorbed you. After what seemed like hours of walking down your street, you opened the door to your warm home.

"Finally" you moaned quietly, feeling the cold within you slowly defrost

"Hello, dear. Is it cold outside?" Your mother asked, walking into the hallway from the kitchen
