The weeks go by quickly and im bullied by a bunch of kids but i expected that. The main bully is the one that ofcourse started it all. Curtis told me his name is Mike Kankel. I don't mind the bullying though; I have Curtis as my friend and he is all I need. I smile as I finish a drawing of two ravens connected by chains. I finish the final details when I hear taping on my window. I look out and see Curtis's smiling face as he rests his arms on his window seal. I smile and open my window.
"Well Hello dear neighbor." I say
"Hello dear Cassie." He says
I smile then I gently fold the drawing I made into an airplane and throw it in his direction. He catches it and looks at me with a raised eye brow.
"Open it." I say
He unfolds it and stares at it with a small smile.
"It's beautiful." He says
I smile then we hear loud sirens blaring close to us. We both look towards the front to see an ambulance, and paramedics running into my house. I look at Curtis with wide eyes, and his face mirrors mine. He nods and I hurry out of the room and down the stairs. The first thing I see is Alissa leaning against the wall covering her mouth with her hand to cover her sobs. She looks at me, and I notice a tear slide down her cheek. She comes over to me and hugs me close.
"What's going on?" I ask
She wipes her eyes and sniffles as she looks at me.
"Well sweetie...Grandma's dead..."
(I'm sorry this is pretty short and very late, but I finally had the time to update. I apologize if this isn't good but it's super late and this was just made up quickly because I wanted to update for the new year.
