Chapter 4

Camila's POV

Dinah and Normani looks at me as I paced back and forward in her room. We all waited for a pregnancy test to complete.

Lauren and I only mated once. We both wanted to take it slow, we know we can't help our hormones. We always stopped at the point right before it's hard to stop.

"Does Lauren know?" Normani asked. I just groaned and sat on her bed.

"We don't know if I am pregnant." I said but I was getting "really?" looks from her friends. "Okay! We don't need a pregnancy test to prove it at all. Oh my god, there is a pup growing inside me. I am only 17. My parents are so going to kill me." I put my hands on my head.

Dinah and Normani looked at each other, don't know what to say.

"You need to tell Lauren."

"You think I don't know that? I know I have to. She is the father or shall I say mother? Whatever. I-I am going to text her to come over." I took my phone out of my back pocket and text Lauren.

Come over. I have to tell you something.

"I am scared, guys. We are just teenagers. We didn't mean this to happen, not saying this is a mistake. I wish we just control our stupid hormones." My phone beeped.

From: Laur(;

Okay. I'll be there in 5.

You can run really fast in your wolf form. Perks of being a werewolf.

"She's coming in 5. I don't know what to say. I can't say like 'Hey Lauren, we are going to be mommies! We're having a pup growing inside me just because why not?' She will be freaking out!"

"Calm down. And yes she will be freaking out but seeing her around you, she's very sweet and she seems she loves you. She will do anything for you. I doubt she will leave you. She will stay by your side and help you. I mean the pup is her child, too. Not just your." Normani tried to calm Calm down. Dinah nodded in the agreement.

"Normani is right. Lauren isn't leaving."

Lauren just arrived at my house, worrying what I will tell her. Lauren changes into a human. She climbed the tree. She knocked the window, see me walking to the window to open to let her come in. Lauren gave me a hug and kiss on my cheek. She saw Dinah and Normani sitting on the sofa, giving her smiles. I can tell she had a feeling they know what's going on.

"Hey girls." Lauren waved to them. "Is everything okay?" Lauren asked in a concerned tone. I just gave her a pregnancy test. Lauren is bewildered, don't know what to do with it.

"You want me to pee on this thing?" Lauren asked me. I give her a 'are you dumb' look. Dinah tried to not laugh at Lauren and Normani elbowed her in the stomach and tell her to shut up.

Lauren just stared at the pregnancy test until the realization hit her. "Ohh... oh shit." Lauren widens her eyes at me. Lauren cleared her throat. "We are having a pup?" Lauren sat down on the bed, taking everything in. "Well okay. How far along are you?"

"I am sure I am 4 week. Why do you seem so calm with this?" I asked Lauren.

"I am not... I am freaking out inside. Trying to take everything in." Lauren sighed. "What are you going to do about it? Not baby. We have to tell our parents... now... speaking of telling our parents that we are expecting a pup on the way... I am scared of your father now. He is going to kill me. No doubt. You guys are invited to my funeral." Lauren rambled.

"Calm down. I have an idea. I will ask my dad to invite your family to come over for a dinner as getting know each other. Then we can announce that we are expecting a pup." I told Lauren my idea. Lauren nodded.

"We can do that. When?"

"Tomorrow."

"Can we come over?" Dinah asked. "What? I want to see their reaction... and your mom's foods."

My mama was cooking delicious lasagna. Everybody including Lauren's family, Dinah, Normani, and Ally were at the table, chatting. My dad and Lauren's dad were laughing at whatever they were saying. Lauren's mom is helping my mama, she was refusing to let her help but her mom ignored her and setting the plates on the table. My sister, Sofi is talking to Lauren's sister, Taylor. Taylor was amusing at what she was saying. Lauren's brother, Chris is trying to flirt with Dinah but he was faced to Dinah's hand and said something like stay in your lane, my friend. Normani and Ally were getting along well, and Dinah as well.

"Look at our big family," I whispered to Lauren "What if we have a family dinner every weekend when we announce we are expecting a pup on the way."

"That'll be nice but I am scared of your father." Lauren whispered to her. I rolled my eyes at her. She keep talking about how scare she is of my papa.

"Be man, Lauren." I elbowed her in the stomach. She groaned.

"Camila! Lauren! Join us!" my mama shouted at us even she was only 5 feet away from us. I am right here. We have super hearing, no need to shout at us. Jeez.

We took our seats and we are eating our dinner. Chris moaned in pleasure, at how delicious my mama's lasagna. I feel you, Chris. My mama's cooking is on fleek.

"So Camila. May I ask you why did you want to invite Lauren's family for a dinner night?" my papa asks me. Ugh papa, can you wait until our dinner is done? Of course not.

"After dinner. I promise I will tell you." I am not making an eye contact with him.

We are done with our dinner, except Chris who is still eating lasagna.

"Well.. I am guessing you guys are waiting for me to say something." Everybody are looking at me, waiting for me to spill it out.

"I am pregnant?" I want to facepalm to myself. This is not what I want to say. Really, I am pregnant. Way to go, Camila. I think to myself, blocking my mind from everybody to read my mind.

Chris starts to choke. Moms gasp. Dads just stares at Lauren, making her nervous. Dinah tries to not laugh at Chris. Normani pats on Chris's back. Ally's jaw drops, pretends she doesn't know.

"So I am going to be an aunt?!" Taylor asks in the excitement tone.

This is how I except their reactions beside Taylor who cares to be an aunt of my pup.
