Chapter 6:
Avery had grabbed a bagel from the breakfast basket in the boys dorm before leaving. She quickly ran to class which was sadly potions and spells, taught by Artemis, the teacher that had it out for Avery's happiness and pretty much her life, preparing that she might be left in the class room with her she took a deep breath as she walked into the class, happily seeing a red haired boy sitting there. "Thank God I'm not alone." She mumbled then went to take her seat, avoiding eye contact with Artemis who was giving her an evil glare. Avery was looking around while more and more students poured into the class room then finally she smiled as Ryu walked in and took his seat behind Avery but he kissed her head before he sat down. "You ditched me this morning, left me laying there naked." Some of the girls over heard and sneered at Avery which she didn't care about as she turned around and looked at Ryu. "If I had stayed laying there, we would of never got to class plus you looked cute while you slept." She grinned and watched him blush a bit before she turned around and that's when class started.
It had been only an hour when the school bell rang and Avery stood up with Ryu right behind her while they walked from the class room but stopped when a voice spoke up. "Ryuzaki. Can I speak with you?" Artemis was standing by her desk, eyeing them both with a look that seemed as if she was trying to hide a evil grin. Ryu looked down at Avery and grinned to let her know everything would be ok as he bent down and kissed her forehead then he walked over to Artemis as Avery left the class room. Avery didn't like leaving Ryu around that woman so she stayed outside and waited until she heard the door handle click and Ryu walk into the hallway. "Yea I'll be there." He shut the door behind him then walked over and put his arm around Avery almost if he was trying to rush away from the class room from fear of being over heard. Avery blinked and kept her gaze up at him while walking until they got around a few corners then Ryu stopped. "That was weird, she asked me to come to town with her to help her pick up some new furniture. It's not sitting right with me much." He didn't look down at Avery until he felt her gaze intensify then he looked at her. "I know you don't like her but you've gotta trust me babe. I promise I'll be ok and come back in one piece. I'll always come back to you." The normal cocky grin grew on his face and Avery finally took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief. "I know you will but I feel like she wants revenge so just watch yourself and I'll be here when you get back, I promise you that." She leaned up and kissed him for awhile until they had to part, Ryu walking towards the parking lot and Avery walking towards her next class.
Chapter 7: (Ryu)
He sighed after having to part away from Avery, he saw the worry in those beautiful eyes of her's which made him feel pretty shitty about leaving her. He was just gonna help this stupid teacher and get back to Avery before she died of worry. He was scratching the back of his neck while he walked out the main doors and into the parking lot, spotting Artemis standing by her car which was on and parked by the gate. He took a deep breath then walked over to her, thinking. "If she tries anything sexual, I'm gonna puke." He shook the made up images from his head then grinned. "Alright I'm ready, let's get this over with." Artemis's grin was a bit creepy and unsettling. "Yes..lets." She got into the drivers seat and Ryu had got into the passenger seat, shutting the door as she started to drive off. "So this car is a bit small for furniture." Ryu glanced at her a bit from the corner of his eye.
"Aye..that it is Ryuzaki but luckily the furniture I'm buying is in a box and needed of assembly so we won't need much room." She continued to drive not taking her eyes from the road for a moment which freaked Ryu out even more, realizing the reasons Avery thought this woman was a crazy bat with a bunch of mis-wiring inside her head..or she was a building that's elevator didn't go all the way to the top.The thought made him chuckle to himself but the happy thoughts of his girlfriend and their conversations went away as Artemis took a sharp turn down a dirt road, the sudden jerk of the car made him bust his head into the window. The car began to pick up speed. Ryu was panicking as he looked over to see her beginning to laugh as if she was crazy. Fear shot through his body and he looked forward to see them heading to a cliff. He then realized "this bitch is trying to kill me!!" He fumbled with the door handle but it was locked so he punched it a few times until it broke, he turned and looked as Artemis wasn't in the car anymore but her door was open. "How the fuck did she bail!" He heard more gravel kick up under the car and saw he was about to fly off the cliff to his death if he didn't act fast. He jerked and pulled on the handle and finally heard it click open but it was too late. The car flew off the side off the cliff until there was the sound of a loud explosion from the gulley. Artemis started to laugh and speak. "Now Avery! See what it's like to have your love taken from you!" She ripped her dress a bit and scratched her arm up and her forehead before walking back towards the main road. Luckily she didn't look over the edge because she would of noticed Ryu was hanging off of the edge of a small ledge. "That bitch is..crazy, her elevator goes to the fucking basement, it doesn't go to the top at all.." He groaned and slowly started to climb up the cliff until he got to the top, he pulled himself up and rolled onto the ground. "Fuck..I need to take gym more serious." He slowly sat up, breathing hard, knowing if he didn't get to school soon that he'd begin to reject the change and he'd die in a pool of his own blood. "Gotta...get back and...tell high priestess and protect Avery.." He stumbled while getting to his feet then started to limp towards the main road.
