Chapters 16-17 (The End)

Chapter 16:

Ryu tightened his grip on her wrist until a voice popped up in the back of his head.
"Ryu, you dumbass, you're going to kill your girlfriend if you don't stop. You have to stop ok? Just trust yourself and remove your fangs from her before you kill her!" He growled but stopped feeding as hard. "You're going to kill her dumbass, this isn't you and you know it." He was breathing harder now as he shook his head a bit, trying to get the voice out of his head. "Retract your fangs now! There is still hope to keep her alive and from turning into what you've become!" That hit Ryu in the heart, he didn't want Avery to become this, he wanted her to be the same adorable dorky girl he had come to love so much. He wanted to be with her while she slept. To watch her become a full vampyre and both of them live together forever. He didn't want to kill her! He quickly retracted his fangs and licked the wound to stop it from bleeding then he lifted up to see her laying unconscious under him.

"Babe?..Avery wake up babe I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." His eyes changed slowly back to the green eyes he always had. "Avery please get up!" He got off of her and lifted her into his arms. "Please don't die..I need you to be alive and live on for me! I may be a monster but I still love you!" He felt tears start to build up in his eyes then saw her move a bit then she opened her eyes only a small bit and smiled at him. "You're not a monster..you're my Ryu.." She passed back out as he gasped quietly under his breath then a tear fell from his eye and down his cheek, dropping onto her face.

At that moment he felt a burning sensation of his forehead and laid her body onto the ground, gripping at his forehead, screaming in pain as he fell back and rolled around a bit. His eye sight going blurry once again. He thought he was gonna die again but would Avery die with him? He slowly closed his eyes but didn't feel the wet bloody cough like before or the aching chest pains. Instead he felt strong and alive but tired at the same time and as he started to go unconscious from the pain in his forehead, he heard the foot steps of about five people and heard the voice of his brother and Zace. "There they are! Hurry! Get Avery to the infirmary!" Aramanda's voice barked orders and Ryu finally fell unconscious.

Chapter 17:

Avery was having the dream she had been having for months of the night she killed Zace or at least she thought she killed him, he was alive as was Ryu or was it all just a bad dream, was she about to wake up in her dorm with Madi sitting there with that worried look on her face like Avery might off herself. This time she had the dream though it was the same she had the night she made love to Ryu, she saw his face which was red and evil looking but then it started to shift, his eyes went back to the normal green color and his glare softened then his smirk became a grin, the grin he always did when he was around her and he looked like he did before she lost him. It was so happy and warm that she didn't wanna wake up but sadly someone knocked over a bed pan which caused her to wake up. She groaned and looked around slowly. Seeing Zeke standing there with Madi and Sofia and Night. "U-Uh sorry. I didn't mean to do that. My hip bumped it." Zeke grinned shyly then rubbed his arm. "We're glad you're awake Avery, we thought we'd lost you. Aramanda said you won't reject the change since we got to you in time." The others nodded but they all looked awkwardly around the room as Avery sat up. "What...what happened to Ryu?." She then heard the curtain move a bit and someone stumble. "shit!" He whispered and everyone slowly walked towards the hall as Ryu slowly peeked his head around the curtain at Avery and grinned. "Hey baby girl..I uh..how's your head and neck feeling." Avery blinked a few times and knew finally that this was real. Ryu was really here and alive but his tattoo was still red other than that, he was completely normal. She was about to speak then shook her head and looked back at his tattoo which was now filled in and complete which meant he was a full vampyre, evil or not.

Ryu broke the silence as he walked over to the bed and sat down besides her. "What is it with us and ending up in this hospital heh heh." He chuckled. "Heh yea..I know we are quite the couple aren't we?" Ryu looked at her seriously. "You still want us to be a couple after that? After you found out I'm a monster?" Avery giggled a bit and Ryu made a pouting face. "What's so funny?" She kept giggling. "Nothing. Except you're not a monster. You're my warrior and my boyfriend. I'll always want us to be a couple, I love you." Ryu started to grin as Avery leaned forward and threw her arms around him. He smiled more then helped her lay back. "Come on you need to rest and get 100% better babe." He started to get up but she grabbed his hand. "Come lay with me Ryu..I've spent so long without you.." She was staring at him as he grinned then took his place on the bed besides her, putting one arm behind his head and the other around her, leaving his hand resting on her waist. "I love you too Avery..thank you for believing in me.." He laid there as she started to fall asleep, gripping his shirt like always then he finally started to fall asleep with her after relaxing himself, feeling he was where he belonged.
