little red riding hood
would dosey-doe in the wood
she sang of love
and sat on a branch there was a dove
the dove listened to her sorrowful tune
for the only listeners were the dove and the moon
little red riding hood was full of grace
she pranced in circles with with a soft smile of her face
but in town there was a boy
he could not prance, filled with joy
he was forced to sit in a chair of wheels
it was much like his achilles heels
he could not move, for that put strain
on his spindly legs, he was filled with vain
he would watch with longing
as she danced with grace
with small, little tears streaming down his face
but one day she noticed the small figure
sitting in the dark like a little fixture
she noticed the crystelized tears on his cheeks
and the red under his eyes, from crying for weeks
she noticed the chair he was cursed upon sitting
and with him she made a bidding
i will help you, if you help me
she spoke with a voice as soft as silk
there was a curse set upon me
i was cursed to live with a heart cold as ice
and her heart cold as ice, was like a vice
it strangled her in a grip so tight
it took all of her will to win the fight
the small boy took her into his embrace
with a small smile etched onto his face
her heart warmed with his love for others
even though he was abandoned by his brothers
her eys lit up, her cheeks rosy red
from the heat inside her heart
the young boy did this with nothing in mind
because children have the purest souls you'd ever find
little red, who was now very cheery
was now noticing he looked a bit weary
she called to the moon and asked for help
and the moon replied, it fixed up his legs
and together they danced
and the little boy was in forever dept as he pranced
