PART 2
Why don't you take a gun
And finish the job.
It's not like you've not sucked
away all 'semblance of humanity,
or take a knife, you know I like 'em
Stab me.
It will not be the first time something
I love will will butcher my soul
I know I gave it to you.I'll not pretend you were not
messed up when I met you.
I'd heard stories.
I probably wasn't any better
But I was a believer in giving
everyone the benefit of the doubt.
I thought I could change youI expected that you'll change
Because I believed in you
In what you could be.
I gave you love
I gave you respect
But you proved me wrongIt you a long time, dammit!
Darkness seeping out of you like
Phantoms that chokehold people in myths
Funny how they didn't frighten me
as much as you did.
you gave me colours on my body
I never wanted
You gave me tattoos
I never warranted.You proved me a fool.
You shattered my self esteem
You turned those I loved against me.
You sold me.
I'd always wanted a swift painless
death. You took that from me.So, now, I'll pretend you are nameless,
faceless, just a mercenary.
I will close my eyes and die in cold blood
on these cold tiles.
I already forgave you.
Only in my death,
I'll play on my violin beautiful haunting
tunes wherever you are.I will try to give you peace,
that thing that makes your blood curl.
And in my next life,
I might do love
I might do respect
I won't have expectations
False expectations.
