She could only think about how his warm hands felt against her skin, how his very being made her feel secure yet utterly mortified. This strange feeling laced around her when he held her down, when he chased her, when-

"He looked terrified..." She stuttered aloud.

Alice held thoughts that confused her more and more.

"Is he friend, or is he fiend?"

She asked herself once more, and without anymore thoughts put into it as if she was under a spell she started to run in his direction, looking at the snowy white trail that encased his footprints. Only to have them stop abruptly about a mile or two in.

She stopped in horror as all she saw at the end of the path he had laid out, was paw prints. She hurriedly chased after the paw prints, terrified out of her mind, unable to control her body anymore.

A howl could be heard in the distance, her fear picking up more and more when she suddenly felt a hand grab her from behind and pull her into the darkness of the trees.

Confused and terrified, she turned herself around as much as possible and although she tried to escape, her running had made her exhausted and left her clutching onto and trying to grasp whatever breaths that she could.

A thought corrupted the moment, as she felt as if something about this situation was familiar.

The shadowed figure she witnessed held their hand over her mouth, making it clear that they didn't want her to make any sound.

Complying to their silent request she stopped struggling, or any movement at all for that matter.

Not soon after she did so, she started to hear the howling getting closer, the sound of paws crunching and bashing against the snowy floor beneath them, worrying her sick.

They came closer and closer then passed as they went further and further away.

"Pardon me for this intrusion."

A familiar voice said as they got up, bringing her up with them.

"You shouldn't have come around here."

He reprimanded as she turned around to see the man she had been chasing.

"But you're here!"

She told him with an exasperated sigh.

"I'm not safe either! Do you not remember my actions from before?!"

He shouted back, clearly furious with himself.

"I do admit-"

She started off,

"I was afraid. But at the same time, I don't know why, I feel like I can trust you."

All twas silent until he spoke.

"I... Thank you."

Her head snapped up when she heard that and not a second later, she found herself in a tight embrace.

"I'm glad that someone trusts me, even a little."

Although shocked, she couldn't help but smile as she starts to feel teardrops dissolving into the depth of her cape and onto her skin. And completely ignoring the faint,

"Bad decision,"

She thought she heard, she comforted this unknown and dangerous man.

"Now that you have calmed down, can you explain to me some things truthfully?"

Alice asked, hoping for a positive answer.
