Cliche cliche cliche. I really felt like Cinderella tonight. The night was magical and I did actually have my prince. I never thought I'd be the type to use describe a date as a prince, but Jimin was the exception. After exciting the hotel, we were on our way to wherever Jimin planned to take me in the limo. Yes that's right. Jimin got a limo for us to drive up in. I've never been in one, so this was a new experience for me. I insisted him that there wasn't a need to get a limo, but he disagreed to it. "I know I didn't need to get a limo, but I wanted to make tonight very special" he said smiling at me. My heart raced at his smile. He grabbed my hand and held it all the way til we arrived.
When we arrived at our restaurant, Jimin hopped out first and helped me out. He was so sweet. He was definitely a gentleman that's for sure. It looked like I was a famous person coming out of that limo. I sure as hell felt like one at least.
The restaurant looked very fancy. Like one that celebrities can only eat at, high ceilings, a diamond chandelier in the waiting room. The waiting room even looked fancy. The chairs had gold trim around them that looked too expensive to even sit on. I was in awe of such a gorgeous place.
We walked up to the host, "Park" Jimin said and the host nodded and directed us to our table. We went up a flight of stairs, even the stairs were gorgeous. The floor was a shiny marble, there was a dark navy blue carpet in the middle with silver diamonds on the sides. The railing was a pretty brassy gold, I was convinced I was in some kind of castle. This place was too gorgeous to even be real. The host directed us to an outdoor table under a gazebo. I was in awe of everything I saw. I couldn't believe Jimin could afford such a place to eat at, especially for a first date.
Jimin tipped the host and pulled a chair out for me, "thank you" I smiled and he gave me a wink. He sat down across me and gave me a flirty smile. "So? How are you liking the setting?" He asked me giving a small smirk. "I can't believe the lengths you went for a first date Jimin. I mean, normally first dates aren't this extravagant. You must go all out on your dates" I said laughing a bit. He took my hand and smiled, "maybe this place is very over the top for a first date, but I wanted to make a great first date memory with you". He somehow managed to make me melt inside. He was truly amazing.Ordering food was tough for me. I didn't want to be expensive, so I tried to order the cheapest thing on the menu. Surprisingly there wasn't anything that cheap, but Jimin insisted it was okay to order anything I wanted. I still ordered something as cheap as I could be.
"So how long are you in New York for?" Jimin asked me during our meal. "Just a week. I planned to come here for the art museum. Then I have to go back to Seattle" I said with a sigh. I really didn't want to go back home. New York was kind to me. It gave me the opportunity to meet someone amazing and have a thrill. I didn't know where it was gonna lead me and Jimin. "How long are you here for?" I asked him and he looked away, giving a sad look also. "A week as well. Me and my friends came here for travels. Then we go back to our jobs in Korea". My heart sank a little. I didn't know he lived so far away. I guess it wasn't meant to be a long term thing? Jimin noticed my sad look, and gently grabbed my hand. "Hey, don't be sad. I wanted to make out first date unforgettable. Let's not worry about leaving and enjoy the night yea?" He assured me giving me a smile. I couldn't help but smile back and nodded. The night was incredible. We ate our food, discussed our lives, got to know each other a lot more than before. We even slow danced to some soft music outside. The night was perfect. I couldn't think of a more perfect date than this.
