Hi. My names Bonnie, Bonnie Parker. Born 1910 and I died in 1934. I lived a short but famous life. I am married to Roy Thornton until he was arrested many times during our marriage so I waked out the door in hope he would come to get me because he loved me. He never did come.
That's when I met Clyde Barrow. Well when I met him. What to my surprise he was at my wedding. He found me at my home one day. He asked my mother if he could take me out that night. My Mother asked " Who are you? Why do you think you can take my daughter out anywhere?". Then Clyde said " M'am , I'm Clyde, Clyde Barrow.".
"Bonnie Parker a man is here for you." Momma said. "Comin!" I said.
I ended up being arrested that night , with Clyde Barrow. Now Momma was having no part of this so called man Clyde Barrow. She refused to let me see him. Now I worked at a diner at the time of the arrest. Clyde did not get out of prison like I did.
I had a plan to get Clyde out of there. I had tried to visit him in prison but they told me " NO visitors!" so I said I was his wife and that we were supposed to be on our honeymoon. It worked, but they hadn't known is that I had a gun hidden under the skirt of my dress! To my surprise Clyde didn't want to take the gun. I said " God dang-it Clyde Take the gun!". He did as I said. Next thing I knew Clyde and I were about to the life of crime.
I had a dream to become a movie star. Clyde promised me all of it. It didn't come that easy, at least it didn't with Clyde Barrow that is. Clyde he was a good man really but seemed to get it trouble more than I thought he would. I managed to get him out the first time, but I it wasn't going to be as easy the second time. I had to talk to the judge who on record did not like Clyde at all. He was just about to be let out but Clyde wasn't told such a thing. He wasn't gonna wait any longer than he had that's for sure. Why he couldn't I don't really know.
He was in the woods with all the invicts chopping up lumber, when he asked one of em' to chop his toes off! When we went to get him we were told he had a server injury. Clyde was upset with the laws because they hadn't told him he was being sent home earlier than he thought. I came with Clyde's mother. I could tell she did not like me. But she was willing to do what ever it takes to keep her Clyde on her side.
