Violet's POV I went downstairs and told my mom about the pool party and she said that she would love to go. I wasn't going to tell her about what Jovani said earlier until we're actually dating. I went back to my room to get ready because the party was at 6:00 and it was 5:45 now. I put on my favorite bathing suit.

I French braided my hair and grabbed my phone and a towel. I put on a long 'Star Wars' shirt and my sandals. I walked down the stairs and my mom was waiting at the door. She was wearing a bright floral sundress so I complimented her. "You look nice Momma." "Thank you sis!" She said as we started walking to the Jara's. We got there and Papa Jara was holding the gate to the backyard open for us. "Come on in! I'm glad you guys came!" He said with a smile. We walked in the backyard and there was about 4 people in the pool. Momma Jara was having a conversation with some of the other woman from the neighborhood and Julian and Jovani were sitting next to each other in a corner. Being antisocial, and looking totally bored. My mom went to talk to Momma Jara and left me to die. I don't like party, groups, gatherings but I'm starting to get better, at life. I walked over to Julian and Jovani and tried to start a conversation, I'm really bad at that. "Hey, guys!" I said standing in front of both of the boys. Julian quickly looked up from his phone and eyed me up and down. I just kept looking at Jovani until he got off of his phone. Jovani then stood up and hugged me. "Hey, babycakes!" He said with excited expression. Julian waved at me. He seemed so awkward and I don't know why. "Nice place you've got here!" I said while looking around. "Thanks!" They both said at the same time which made me laugh. "You wanna go for a walk?" Julian asked both of us. "Sure!" I said and looked at Jovani, he just nodded his head. I told my mom we were going for a walk and then we started down the street. "My god! It's so hot!" I said while sweating. I took off my shirt and left my shorts on and I couldn't help but notice Julian was staring at me. I was walking in the middle of them, with Julian on the left and Jovani on the right. Jovani's phone started ringing and he stopped to answer it. Me and Julian kept walking. Julian's hand started to touch mine and he held my hand. As soon as I realized it i took my hand back really quick and he whispered to me. "It's alright, Babygirl." And grabbed my waist. "No it's not!" I responded and tore away from him. I was trying to not make a scene, but I quickly walked back to Jovani. "Hey, you guys just left me!" He exclaimed and punched me in the arm. "Hehe, yeah," I said and grabbed his hand and started walking. End;) Ohhhhhh! Julian! I feel like this was an okay chapter but it's gunna start getting real and there's gunna be so dirty chaps too!!
