Chapter 9

P.O.V. BRUCE WAYNE

{Time jump}

It's been six months with Clark and it's been the greatest 6 months I ever had. I also have learned to work with a partner again since robin left me and turn into nightwing. I feel like we are perfect for each other.

"Bruce are you ready?" Clark yelled that me from the bottom of the stairs. "okay be down there in a minute." I finish pack for our trip to my private island. Since I am always in the newspaper, Clark and I haven't really got time to ourselves. So I'm taking him to my island. I walk out of my room and down the stairs. "okay let's get to the airplane." I tell him as he helped me with my bags. We both put the bags in the trunk of the limbo.

We get to my private airport, I get out and so does Kent. We go and grab the bags out of the trunk of the limbo and into the airplane. We finish boarding the plane and we take off. "How you feeling Clark?" I ask, his face look a little pale "yeah, it's different than flying yourself." I chuckle. I get up and go sit next to him and lay my head on his shoulder. "it's going to be okay." I told him.

{TIME JUMP}

So after the long plane ride. We land at my private island. "we here Clark, lets getting down." I go grab our bag and start bring them down. Clark following right behind. Then I hear a drop and I turn around and I see Clark drop to the floor. I drop everything and run to him.

"Clark are you okay." He smiled weakly at me and then close his eyes. I rush over to the house on the island I have a small ER room. I push open all the door and carry Clark to the room. I put him on the examining table and walk over to turning on all the machine. I slowly put on the things to keep watch on him. "b-br-uce....." I hear my name. I go over to him. "yes Clark" he motions for me to get closer. I get closer and he kisses me with all the strength he had left. Then he falls asleep.

The next morning, I wake up and I go check up on Clark. He is still asleep. The heart machine has a steady beeping. He is laying there and he looks peaceful. I grab a chair and sit next to him. I grab his hand and hold it. "please be okay Clark." I whisper to him. I hear a knock at the door and I look over to see Alfred. "hey Alfred thanks for coming as soon as you can." I said as I stare back at Clark. "it's no problem master Bruce." He said and walk over to me. He put one hand on my shoulder. "I will make some coffee. I will return shortly." I look and nodded at him. He walks out the door.
