Her mouth hung open. She started to say something, but her lips stayed sealed.
"What were you trying to say?" I asked.
"I-I like you too, Mel."
I couldn't believe it. This was a dream, and I wasn't waking up! That's what it was... I thought. She gave me a little push.
"Now I guess we're two love birds." She said.
The next thing I knew, I was tackled down to the bed while the song finished. "And love is not a choice.."
Angel spoke the last lyric.
"I know we've just met but..." Angel said.
"But what?"
"I'm in love with you."
Then, after she said the breathtaking words, her smooth pink lips were against mine.
We were kissing.
