When Luna's mother, Pandora, was a student at Hogwarts, she really looked up to a certain older Gryffindor girl. The two became very close and Lily truly admired Pandora's open-mindedness. Pandora finally convinced Lily to go out with that 'Arrogant Toerag' James Potter. Pandora was the maid of honor at James and Lily's wedding.
