Chapter 7

I went ahead of him and went down to the feed room. When i went to midnights stall i found a note on the door.

"jessica, i dont like it that you dont know who i am iv decided that i want to meet you at the local movie theater at 6:00 tomorrow. Please come alone"

I put the note in my pocket and didnt tell mark about it. I wanted to know who it was but i was also afraid.

After about an hour of tending to the horses, we went inside and made lunch.

" So jess im goin outta town for a rodeo this week, is that okay?"

"Yea mark why wouldnt it be?"

" I dont know i just felt like i had to ask."

" Awww thats sweet babe, thanks."

After lunch he left and promised to call every day. i thought it was sweet how he'd do that.

The next day was Monday sadly. I woke up to the smell of sausage and waffels. i walked down the stairs and i saw my mom at the stove and my dad at the table readin' the paper.

"Good mornin jess, dear how'd you sleep?"

" Like a log thanks for askin mama."

We sat down at the table with a comforatable silence.

"So jess, how are your grades doin?"

"There fine dad," i said with a little annoynce. all he ever wants to do is talk about school and how i need to get into a good college and blah blah blah.

After breakfast i went upstairs to take a shower. i was singin along to luke bryan when my phone went off. i thought it was mark and i smiled.

I had to get ready though Maggie was gonna pick me up in 7 minutes and I still had to get dressed. Another minute in the shower and I was done.

I walked into my room and picked out my outfit of choice. It was my favorite pair of blue jeans that had a little tear in the top. My shirt was a peach tank top that was loose and perfect. I finished the look with my brown cowboy boots and headed down stairs.

"Jessica, Maggie's here! Hurry up!"

"Okay mama!"

I grabbed my phone and walked out the house. I walked down the stairs and ran across the yard.

I greeted Maggie with a smile," hey girl how was your weekend?"

"Good me and Zac went out for our 2 month anaversry, and it was absolutely romantic!"

Zac was Maggie's boyfriend whom she was madly in love with.

"So what about you jess? Anybody you're interested in?"

"Well me and mark are back together."

Her eyes went wide along with her smile.

"Oh my god!!! finally y'all are back together, y'all are soooo cute!"

"Yeah yeah."

I couldn't stop smiling even when we were at school. when we got out of the car Zac and Mark were at the front talkin' and laughing.

"Hey babe," Mark said while giving me a kiss.

"Alright y'all two get a room," Zac said.

"What ever last week y'all were almost about to get it on in the middle of the lunch room," I remarked which earned a slap from Maggie.

We talked till the bell rang for us to go to go to class. Mark took my hand and walked me to class.

"Well babe i'll see you in an hour," he said.

I giggled, "why yes i'll miss you my dearest."

He gave me a quick kiss bye and left.

OKAY SO I HAVNT UPDATED FOR A WHILE BUT NOT ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE READ MY STORY SO IY HASNT BEEN A BIG CONCERN, DO IF YOU DO IM SORRY AND ILL TRY TO DO IT MORE OFTEN AND I PROMISE THE STORY WILL GRT BETTER.
