During the Dark Ages in Eastern Europe (it was only there) the old countries such as England and France sometimes went undercover as a normal knight just to help fight for their people. Needless to say, their kings got extremely angry at them for doing it and banned them from doing it again. They still did it one night every so often, cause why not?
