Chapter 3
I sat in the chair trying to take everything in. When I saw it. Across in ground if us was a large explosion.
"Sulu stop the ship, Scotty, I need you on the bridge!" I yelled. Two minutes later Scotty was on the bridge staring at what you to be and observation station, just behind it I could see a ship turning to leave.
"someone better find a damn explanation for what the hell that was!" I yelled checking all of the stations looking for any signs of life.
"Captain do you know what that was?" Scotty asked beginning to panic.
"That's what I was wondering if you could answer." I replied sitting down in the chair.
"Well I have absolutely no clue what that was." he replied with a sigh.
"Captain I believe that was an attack on the observation station." Spock said from behind me.
"Yes Commander we have gathered that much." I said, With a sigh. "Check and see if there are any areas that we can send a rescue party in through." I said.
"Sulu set up a video message with Starfleet!" I said looking through the data logs from the observation platform.
"Yes Sir," He replied quickly.
There must have been a couple hundred people on that observation platform.
"Captain! Captain!" I heard some yell running onto the bridge, I turned around and cadet Kirk stood there.
"How the hell did you get onto the bridge?" I asked him, Spock stood up from behind me.
"Sir I can remove the cadet from the bridge." He said.
"Try it, but this cadet is trying to save the bridge." Kirk screamed.
"Cadet Kirk, please elaborate on that." I said turning back to him.
"That same anomaly, the lightning storm in space, that happened once before, on the day of my birth. Sir you know that, i read your dissertation. From that lighting storm emerged i massive shit, the Kelvin was under attack and never seen or heard from again." The Kirk said. "What happened here is the same thing that is going to happen on Vulcan. I promise you, this is not a rescue mission, it is attack." He cried out
"Red alert!" I yelled. "Everyone battle positions!" "I hope, for the sake of lives, that you are wrong." I said.
