You weigh up your options. The closet seems safer, besides you've seen horror movies,
no one who hides under the bed ever survives.
You quietly crawl into the closet, pulling the door carefully closed behind you.
You strain your ears to hear the footsteps. You faintly hear them enter the room next to you. Before they get to you, you look around for anything that you could use against you.
Your hand brushes against something cold. It's a metal baseball bat, it had been in there so long you had forgotten that it was even there.
You grip the handle as you hear the footsteps enter the room you're in. Suddenly your mind races, should you really jump out? They might not find you if you just stay hidden, maybe you would be putting yourself in danger!
