"That's right Ladies. Joe Jonas is now off the market. Our sources tell us that he proposed to his longtime Girlfriend Ashley Greene. He popped the question over the weekend. They plan to get married sometime later this year. I can hear you all now crying. So sorry ladies."The Dj said. No one spoke for a few moments after that. Demi went over to the radio and turned it off. Eddie could see that she was having a battle with herself. He kind of always thought that Joe would come waltzing back in and sweep her off her feet again. "Demi baby doll."He said in a soft voice.

Demi closed her eyes as she heard her dad call her Baby Doll. A few tears slipped down her cheek. She swiped at them. She took a mustard up the best smile she could. Took a deep breath in. Then She turned to look at him. He could tell that she was trying not to cry. She shook her head. Her face was so pale now. Her smile was now replaced with a forced smile. He could see right through it. He could see that pain in her eyes now. The light was gone now out of them. They didn't shine like they were only moments before. I an instant they chanced. He didn't like that at all. "I gotta go now Daddy. I'm gonna met up with the girls for dinner. So I'll see you all later this week. I..I love you Dad. I love you too Baby girl." She said then she walked out of the house. Maddie let out a sigh. "You think she is okay Daddy?" She asked. "I'm not sure baby girl. We shall see." He said. He sighed as he watched her leave. He could tell that she was now crying. He could see her body was shaking. He wanted to go after her. But he thought it was best just to leave her be.

Eddie shook his head. He felt her grab his shirt. He looked down at his girl sleeping. Then he frowned as he saw tears streaming down her face. He shook his head, she was crying now even in her sleep. Moments later the he looked up to see Maddie. She gave him a small smile. He smiled at her as she walked over to sit next to him. "Hey baby cakes. How are you?" She shrugged. "I'm okay. How is she?" She asked. He let out a sigh. "Well, I got to her to stop crying and calm down for a bit. But she is still crying now. Even in her sleep. What did you want earlier?" He asked as he looked at his watch. He had let her sleep for about an hour. He had to wake her up soon. "Oh, it was nothing important yet." She said with a smile. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Just what does that mean Missy? Your mother and sisters get that look to. That is when they are up to something thing. You gonna leave your daddyo guessing."He said. She nodded as he shook his head and smiled.

"Okay then. You excited to see your sister perform tonight?"He asked. "Yes, I can't wait. It never get tired of sing her perform. She is the best ever." Maddie said. Eddie nodded her head. "Yes, your sister is one of a kind. I Just...Never mind." He said. "Yes I know dad. I wish that she would see that too. You know since everything that happened with Joe and his family. She really is not the same. It...well to me it is like a piece of the puzzle is missing. That puzzle piece missing makes her think too much. Joe is that missing puzzle piece. Yes, she looks and acts all happy. But her eyes saying that she is unhappy and sad. The light is gone from them."Maddie said. Her dad raised an eyebrow. "Wow baby girl are you sure you are not like 20 and not just 13?"He asked. "Silly yes. I'm just 13. We, I'm gonna get some food. I think that you and her need to get something to eat too."She said, then she got up.

2 hours later

Demi had performed most of the concert. Now was the time that she began to sing Don't Forget. "So, these next few songs..." She closed her eyes she could feel the tears threatening to fall. "Well at one time they were about someone I loved lots. I...."She took a deep breath. "I didn't think that I would fall so hard again. I always told myself that I wouldn't fall that hard again for any guy. I just never thought that I would ever met someone that could make me feel more than I ever would. W....When he left me so long ago...I was broken...I to be honest I'm still Missing him. It's like a missing puzzle piece. He is my missing puzzle piece. I think that I will only ever be whole with him.I.... Well to be honest I didn't count on ever falling so hard...for him....Most of you fans still ship us, even after all this years.
