She closed her eyes as the pain came back again. She heard hear a gasp. Demi opened her eyes. He was kneeling down beside her. He moved so fast one second he was on the couch and now he was beside her. Her heart was racing in her chest. She hoped he couldn't hear her heart beat. She swallowed as she looked into his beautiful brown eyes. She dreamed of them all the time. She could get lost just looking at them. Tears began to fall down her cheeks now. She remembered her legs and the cuts. She tried to make her shorts cover them up. He looked at her with concern. His eyes went wide as they traveled down her body. He smirked as he looked at her. She felt her cheeks heat up. Demi bit the inside of her lip. She knew he was gonna see the cuts. They had now healed but, you could see that they were done only days before. His face changed in an instant as they got to her legs. He looked back at her face. Tears came to his eyes. He swallowed, as more tears came to his eyes. She now began to cry too.
Joe's heart was beating so fast now. He didn't speak a word yet. He just looked at her. She began to try and sit up. He snapped out of the trance that she had him in since she yell at him to sit down. Her voice just dazzled him. He always loved the sound of her voice. He moved to help her sit up. "How is your head?" He said in a low voice. She let out a sigh. "I think it is okay."She said clearly. Which surprised her. Then she shocked him when she she slapped him across the face. His eyes when wide. "Owww. What was that for?"He asked as she rolled her eyes. "I was just checking to see if I was dreaming about you. But it hurt my hand, so I'm not dreaming. That was also for scaring the heck out of and for not ever calling me."She said. More tears streamed down her face. "I...I'm sorry Joey for slapping you. I was just so mad."She said. She reached her hand up to his face. He closed is eyes, bracing for another slapped. He kind of did deserve it. He had not treated her good. He claimed to be her friend but he was always busy doing something. More like he was scared to death of how she made him feel.
Then he felt her soft hands wiping his tears. He opened his eyes, to see her closer now.Then she shocked him again. She leaned in and gently placed her lips on his cheek. Where she slapped him. Her touch sent shivers through out his body. He felt like his face was on fire. She pulled back and smiled at him. His knees when weak. He was glad he was kneeling on the ground. He sat down on the ground now. He pulled her body toward his and wrapped his arms around her. Then they both cried. Minutes passed by and he still held her tight in his arms. He didn't want to ever let her go now. He breathed her in. He always loved the way she smelled. She pulled back. Now he reached over and wiped her tears. "Dems?"He said the best voice he could. "Yes Joey?"She said. His heart skipped a beat. He loved it when she called him that. She was the only one to call him that. "I'm so sorry. I've been a fool. Demi Lovato I have been in love with you since I met you on the set of Camp Rock. I've tried everything that I could to run away from you and love."He said.
"I know that Joe...But."She began. "No, no no. Don't even go there now. I saw what you said in your last concert. I know you Demi. I know when you are lying. I can see it in your eyes Honey. You are now fighting what we have. I know what we have is real. We have a love that will last a life time. Don't you dare run from it now. I know you are scared. I'm just as scared. I promise you I won't make the same mistakes that I made last time. I've been living in a prison these past years with out you. I thought that I could live with out you. But the truth is that I can't. You are like a tattoo on my heart. You've been in my every thought. I thought that Ashley could be the one to take my mind off of you. But she didn't no one can take your place but you."He said. More tears came to his eyes. "Dems I love you much it hurts to breath. I can't live this life with out you by my side. I need you like I need air."He said.
"I...Joe....I don't know what to say."She said. She looked down at her hands. Then he grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips hard, yet so gently. She tried to push him away. But he just kissed her more. She began to stop fighting him and she kissed him back. She wrapped her arms around him.
